"You gonna be ok, Fishy?" Tom, the dark hair demi-human triplet, said with a large childish smile as Fishy climbed on the horse with the sunrise, saying:
"I should be fine. Make sure you look after the city while I'm gone. I already told Ziu what to do whilst I'm gone. Everything should be fine."
"Are you going to bring back Clara?" Tim asked, shyly raising his head up towards Fishy who sat high above him.
"Of course, I can't have my secretary using marriage as an excuse to slack off. She'll be back and it'll be like nothing changed."
"I see…" Tam, the final triplet, said
The triplets nodded to each other in agreement, believing fully that Fishy was going to create the miracle of bringing Clara back
"Fishy…" A decaying voice called from nearby. The voice belonged to The Elder who approached by supporting his hunched back with the small branch he leans on as he walks. The triplets noticed his health and helped him approach Fishy.
"Will you bring her back, my granddaughter?"
"Yes!" Fishy beamed with confidence that lit up the old man's face. His skin was drooping down but it was still noticeable that he was beaming bright with hope for Fishy's words.
The three triplets smiled at each other as they waved till Fishy vanished in the distance.
The wedding was in three days, but it would only take two if he didn't stop. So, he decided to stop off along the way and visit an old friend in the Druid's forest.
He quickly jumped off his horse as he approached the dense thicket. He tied it to a nearby tree to make sure it wouldn't run off without him, and started his journey into the druid's land. He didn't want to be found by the druids, despite it being their forest, as he wasn't there to see them. Instead, he went to the field of pink petals and visited the tiny girl who smiled gleefully at him as she swept the fallen leaves.
Her smile was strong and her eyes were still forever closed. Despite this, she could tell who was still in front of her.
"You seem different?" Rose, Beauty's assistant, said, keeping her distance from Fishy, with several trees separating them.
"Is it a big difference?" A man who knows how to engage in conversation with strangers replied.
"I don't believe so, Fishy. But, it's like you've gained new confidence"
Fishy smirked to himself, remembering why he went to the forest in the first place.
"Where is Beauty?"
"She is in a meeting with all the other celestials. One that has gone on for many days now."
"Do you know when she'll be back?"
"I do not. I can relay a message to her when she does. But I believe you may not need to speak to her, and are merely finding an excuse—or maybe a reason—to get beat up again? Heehee." Rose giggled to herself, spinning around the wooden broom in her hand as the wind picked up. The beautiful pink petals from the anti-magic elks spread far and wide around the area, stopping any and all essence of magic, creating a place of peace and freedom seen nowhere else in the world.
"I didn't realise that by losing your eyes you ended up seeing more of the world?" Fishy sarcastically said to Roses amusement.
"I shall tell Beauty that you've been here. Thank you for coming to see me again, Fintan."
"Of course, I said I'd be back, Rosie."
"Please, next time come back so we can stay for longer. Maybe even bring Clara and Ziu from the city."
Fishy smiled at the idea, looking at the cloudless blue sky.
"Yes, that sounds like a great idea."
Fishy couldn't stay for much longer, he was on a strict time limit and had to continue his journey to the Rynad kingdom. It was a simple journey. There was no rough terrain that would cause him problems, but the only problem was his horse. He was limited to how much energy his horse had.
"Hey, Lilith," he called out to the vampire in his shadow as he charged through an empty field on his brown horse.
"What do you want?" She spoke back, yawning through her words.
"Can you give some of the horse your energy? I'm worried if we have to stop we won't make it in time."
"Hmmm? I'm already tired and you want me to use my magic to make me even more tired so you can get to the kingdom on time to stop your secretary's wedding?"
Fishy didn't reply, he was too focused on charging forward to hear what she said.
"Alright, I'll do it. Since you seem to be ignoring me. But, I won't be able to help you while you are there as I'll be sleeping. So, I've got to ask, are you ready to take on the world?"
"I am!" he replied back.
"Excellent! Let's hope my training didn't go to waste!"
