Lan Yao noticed the blue-winged girl flying outside of the window with a little boy in her arms. Only now did she realize that the little boy ran into the bathroom while Xiao Lan was bathing and that's probably the boy she's carrying at the moment, because all other children were accommodated outside of this little space. Only the four of them were within this small world.
Meanwhile, Asura Ryuu felt very comfortable flying like that. It was an entirely different feeling from the green-robbed sister from before. Back then, they were carried by wind and it was slightly uncomfortable because winds were chaotic. Each moment they would change and impact the bodies of those inside the wind cocoon from different angles, which was mildly irritating and sometimes even painful.
But now, feeling two gentle arms holding him while his legs hung free and his shoulder-long white hair fluttered by the wind, Asura Ryuu felt truly alive. Feeling the chill brought by the wind, he relaxed completely and spread his hands out slightly, feeling the wind even more.
Xiao Lan: "Heh-heh, do you like the feeling of wind?"
Asura Ryuu: "Um..."
Xiao Lan: "Want to feel it even more?"
Asura Ryuu: "Yesh!"
Even now, Asura Ryuu was still acting like a real child, but it was genuinely irritating, not being able to be your true self. However, before ascertaining the character of this big sister of his, he'll never reveal the true state of things.
Just as he was complaining in his mind, the surroundings became slightly darker. Raising his head, Asura Ryuu saw dark clouds with blue lightning jumping from one place to another. His heart started beating faster unconsciously because they were just a few hundred meters below the clouds.
In the next moment, he felt the hair on his body suddenly rise up like morning wood and his eyes filled with wild excitement. The thickest lightning he ever saw flashed and fell on the top of Xiao Lan's head. The part where lightning hit was a shiny blue scale in the middle of her forehead.
Even though the lightning was as thick as Asura Ryuu himself, after coming in contact with that scale, it simply disappeared like a glass of water in the endless ocean. Sapphire scales on Xiao Lan's wings shone with wild, uncontrollable light. Each of the scales that was only slightly protruding suddenly popped out a few millimeters more, but those few millimeters represented a massive rise in power, as could be seen from what happened next.
As Xiao Lan tightened the grip around Asura Ryuu, even his sapphire-blue shiny robes started showing small arcs of lightning along its surface. Xiao Lan's wings stretched out to the fullest and suddenly fell with extreme momentum: *Ka-BOOM*
From the window in the house, Asura Tenka only saw a streak of lightning as a rumbling sound reverberated from the surroundings and even the window started shaking from vibrations.
The streak of lightning was thin, as if it was just a string, but Lan Yao was clearly shocked when she saw it. Her hand that was on Asura Tenka's shoulder slightly tightened while her mind spun, trying to answer the question troubling her: "Why did she do that, is there an intruder? Is there some kind of problem?!"
While she was thinking, Lan Yao subconsciously released her Soul Emblem that shone with powerful light. It was in a shape of a coiling dragon forming a circle - its head touching its tail. The emblem was right on Lan Yao's forehead. The clothes on her back split and torn open as a pair of azure blue wings rose, condensed from her domineering Spirit Energy.
She caught Asura Tenka with one hand and opened the window with the other. The next moment, a silhouette jumped down from the window and flapped its wings, rising in the air despite its weight. If one judged according to the Earth's laws, such a small pair of wings couldn't possibly carry a human.
But... this was not Earth.
That's the very reason why Earth was called 'hell' by those who were used to living with Spirit Energy. Having no Spirit Energy meant no possibility for evolution in a short period of time.
That didn't mean creatures on Earth couldn't evolve, far from that.
But, even though the living beings on Earth had a potential to evolve, the problem was that the evolution was carried out through the genes passed from a parent to the child. It meant that the species that wanted to evolve would need dozens of generations for the evolution to happen, unless that species was genetically engineered.
Asura Ryuu's eyes were not merely filled with excitement, there was even a crazy light in them at this moment as heavy wind pressure pressed on his small body. Xiao Lan was genuinely surprised to see that this small kid had such a resilient body. She thought his Soul Spirit was surely something related to strength.
But it's only partially true.
Dragon God had both - enormous strength and superb control over elements. It even had an inborn understanding of space and some other mysterious powers present in the world, like time. But its control over time was poor at best.
However, considering how stronger Asura Ryuu's Soul Spirit was and the fact that it was born within the center of the black hole, it's guaranteed that Asura Ryuu would surpass his sister who had Dragon God as her Soul Spirit.
At the same level, Asura Ryuu will be a hundred times stronger than her and even then she was considered a god of Soul Beasts with her Soul Spirit. What was he then? God of everything?
Others also got Dragon-based Soul Spirits, but they were only twice as strong as their peers without them. Naturally, they were two times slower with cultivation as well.
But still, two times versus ten times and thousand times. Is there even a need to compare?
When Asura Ryuu realised how hard his path of cultivation will be, he felt slightly depressed. Many thought having a higher-ranked Soul Spirit was a good thing, but everything in this world comes at a price. That's why when he absorbed all the water from the thunder pool in the bathroom, only a small speck of Spirit Energy was formed within his blood.
That speck of energy was compressed a thousand times, but the explosion was exponentially stronger. That's why even though it was invisible to the naked eye, it formed an extremely strong explosion.
Xiao Lan: "How does the wind feel, heh?"
Asura Ryuu: "Am-amazing... Big sister is amazing!"
Xiao Lan: "Kekeke, I'm glad little Ryuu thinks that."
A short while later, the two flew down in the middle of the forest made up of unique kinds of plants.
Asura Ryuu looked around himself with an amazed expression etched on his face. Everywhere he turned around were trees with shiny gem-like plants and strange plant species he never saw before.
Xiao Lan stretched her hand out and grabbed a red fruit of some sort, giving it to Asura Ryuu.
Xiao Lan: "Eat this and see if you're still hungry. If you can't bear the energy, sister will help you absorb it so don't be surprised later."
Asura Ryuu thanked her and hurriedly chomped down on the fruit in his hands, not even bothering to spit out the seeds. That alone could tell how hungry he was.
Just a moment later, he froze in place and slowly closed his eyes. His spine straightened and his head slightly fell back as his closed eyes filled with indescribable comfort.
Asura Ryuu: "Haaaa... so comfortable..."
That pleasure is kinda hard to explain - the closest would be "Merging with nature itself".
