Chapter 11 - Sweetness Under the Moonlight

In the dead of the night, two silhouettes lay on the slanted roof of the mansion while holding hands. Those are Asura Ryuu and Asura Tenka, basked in the moonlight under the endless river of stars and moons flowing in the vast sky.

The scenery differed completely from the night sky on Earth. Various colors intersected in the sky, forming scene similar to auroras. There were several moons, the main thing that differed from Earth, but not the only one.

The planet they were on was essentially different because everything was flooded with Spiritual Energy. The air, the universe, the ground, even the stars contained Spiritual Energy. That was why a planet with no Spiritual Energy, like Earth, was deemed as hell by Gods.

The two stared at the stars for a long time as a faint breeze flew past them and, as if attracted by a magnet, bended towards the mansion a bit but still continued in its original direction.

If one wanted to visualise it, the effect would be the same as when one puts the stick into the water which forms an eye-like stream around it, but instead of water this happened with the wind.

It was unknown what caused such an effect, but it was a nice one nevertheless.

The warm breeze seemed comfortable and carried a bout of fresh air with it, permeated by the pleasant smell of water and flowers.

They didn't know what kinds of flowers there were around them, but it was a very pleasing feeling.

Asura Tenka: "We're back here after so long... I feel as if something has changed."

Asura Ryuu: "You noticed it as well, eh? It truly feels as if something is missing. I wonder what happened with The Realm of Gods when we left..."

Asura Tenka: "There is bound to be a big change up there by now. You know why they kept me sealed there. Without me they won't have a way to produce that energy ever again."

Her eyes drifted among the stars as she felt the warmth of her loved one through her hand. That warmth magically slithered up her arm and nested in her heart. It was a peculiar feeling she longed for a long time.

"What do you think would happen with our Spirit Emblems?", Asura Ryuu asked while turning over and hugging the girl radiating a devilish beauty next to him.

Asura Tenka: "To be honest, I don't know. I have a feeling that you'll awaken my original bloodline because of my Spiritual Blood, but I'm not sure what'll be my Spirit."

Asura Ryuu: "Yeah, I wonder what you'll awaken. Anyway, that Celestial Tree in my Spirit World is very strange. It doesn't have any kind of energy as if its ethereal, yet it slowly consumes and refines my Spirit Power."

Asura Tenka: "It's the first time for me too, so I know nothing about it. However, it must be something very powerful since it can escape our Divine Senses.

By the way, what happened to that claw from before?"

Asura Ryuu: "The one father left behind?"

Asura Tenka: "Yep."

Asura Ryuu: "It's not in my Spirit World and even the nine chains are missing. It's strange. Both of us are sure that the chains took it away, but I can't find where it is, not even with my Divine Sense."

As they talked, Asura Ryuu's hand gently slid through Asura Tenka's hair along her neck and ended up on her cheek. The two's eyes met and became locked for a long time. Asura Ryuu's breathing slowed down as he looked at the reflection of the stars in the golden eyes of Asura Tenka. Her eyes were shining under the starlight and each light spot in them seemed as if absorbed deep within.

When Asura Tenka felt his passionate gaze, her heartbeat sped up even more and her face became flushed entirely, but there was a faint feeling of expectation hidden in the golden luster of her eyes and a bit of nervousness within. She couldn't bring herself to separate her eyes from his, but those crimson pupils accentuated by the moonlight were as if two moons that slowly absorbed her soul and even her strength. She felt weak, unable to move, but she loved that sweet feeling of weakness.

Bit by bit, their lips neared each other as their heartbeats increased a bit. When their lips met, their eyes were already closed. The sensation held a powerful impact for both, since they were each other's first. Sadly, they haven't crossed 'that' line yet and there was no way physically at their current age.

When their lips parted, Asura Ryuu's lips morphed into a half-satisfied, half-evil smile as his head touched Asura Tenka's while her face beamed with joy and satisfaction. Her rosy lips were already stretched as far as they could and her heart seemingly wanted to get wings and escape from her chest.

In Asura Ryuu's mind, various indecent scenes flashed, but there was a look of resignation on his face behind that evil smile. Obviously, they couldn't do the 'thing' yet, and neither of them knew when would their bodies be developed enough for the act. After all, both were from The Realm of Gods originally, where babies had stronger bodies than top-notch Spiritualists from this world, but that is because of the Divine Energy.

Asura Ryuu: "You can slip away for another decade from me, after that... hehe."

"Hmph! Evil thing." Asura Tenka's face blushed even more when she realized what he meant as her slender fingers pinched Asura Ryuu's waist in retort.

The two were exactly what one would imagine childhood sweethearts like, just with a mentality of a grown-up. But there was more than one problem in this life that stood in their way - they were biological brother and sister. The physical act itself won't matter, but nobody knew that they were lovers from long ago and not just brother and sister, so there was a question of morals as well as genetic compatibility.

Luckily, they won't face those problems for a while. The current biggest problem was their weakness. They currently had a strength proportional to a ten-year-old from Earth. It can be said they were twice as strong as their equals on Earth, but it wasn't nearly enough to survive in this world.

The night was long, but their passion throughout it was even longer.

Whether the old man noticed what happened or not remains a mystery.
