It was a hectic day for Maricella, and there is much more work preparing this than when they did the wedding in the Demon world.
There she has Sophie and a bunch of royal servants who prepared and decorated the venue for the memorable and enchanting like-wedding Maricella didn't expect to experience.
But here in the earthly world, it was her best friend and her mom who arrange everything from the venue to the cathedral.
Her make up was yet again done by Sophie, and Maricella's mom provided her with her wedding dress that her mom wore on her wedding day.
Sophie customized it to fit on her. It was indeed beautiful, She even dream of one day wearing the wedding dress of her mom, and now it's happening.
They check-in to the nearest hotel from the Cathedral, it's where they will also hold the reception of the wedding after.
Maricella can hardly believe that in just half an hour, she will be walking in the aisles while Dalton is waiting for her in the Altar.
Funny.
They already did this before, but still, Maricella felt nervous about it, like it would always be her first time marrying him.
They invited only those closed family in the earthly world like the Dean and his daughter, Abi, and Marcus.
She even personally invited Martha, the oracle, that predicted that she would meet the love of her life, Dalton.
So now, here she was staring at her reflection in the mirror. She looks stunning with her mothers' bridal gown. The design is a sweetheart gown in white, it seems so simple, yet there's a vibe of elegance on it. Usually, Maricella loves ivory color than the plain white, but it's pure luck that her moms' wedding dress is not. The ivory color only reminds her of that awful dream she had before they came back here in the earthly world.
Her strand of thought was interrupted when she heard a knock on the door.
"Honey, there's some lovely ladies who wanted to meet you." Her mom announced smiling at her before opening the door revealing the two lovely demon that carved a place in her heart.
"Mama! Sophie?! I can't believe you guys can make it! I thought Sophie only went here to do my make up early this morning," Maricella exclaimed before hugging them both.
"Huh! You have to thank me, sissy. I persuade the King to let us go.
Mom doesn't want to tell Papa, but I knew she would love to see your wedding in the earthy, world."
Sophie muttered out proudly before lounging herself on the couch like she's too exhausted.
"Thanks for your hard work Sophie, your the best!" Maricella finds her little sister in law who doesn't act her age so cute right now. She walks the distance between them just to messed with her hair, which she know Sophie hated the most..
"Urgh! Why does everyone love to mess with my hair?! Guys, I'm not a kid anymore.
Anyways you're welcome, sissy..." Sophie said after being melodramatic for a bit, that made everyone in the room laugh.
When Maricella remembered she hadn't appropriately introduced her mom and Queen Sophia, she took the chance and finally presented them both.
"Ohh, by the way, mom, this is Queen Sophia, Dalton's mother, and this is his cute little sister Princess Sophie which I already introduced to you this morning." Maricella smiled at both of them.
She's happy and contented that they both exchange pleasantries and greeting.
They chit-chatted before Marcus came in, announcing to them that it is time to leave.
They all went to the elevator down to the lobby.
Speaking of Vampire ability and Royal demons power, they all acted like rational human beings.
It's quite unnatural for the Queen, but Sophie was accustomed to it because she's an international makeup artist and a well known international designer.
Running in and out of Paris is like putting on her clothes and take it off.
Each one went on their way to their appointed car, and no one noticed that Maricella was left behind.
Maricella was busy looking down, pulling slightly up her gown in the front so she won't step on its hem,
when suddenly she bump with a rock-solid chest.
When she looks up to say sorry, She met with those grayish eyes.
Something is off, and Maricella feels her hair rose. He smiled at her, revealing his white marble teeth.
Maricella felt like she knows him from before, but she couldn't remember where?
"My apologies I prinkípissá mou, I was in a hurry like you, My reflex was not so fast to stop us from colliding."
"No problem, Mr. I'm sorry, but I'm in a rush, bye."
Maricella smiled at the stranger before nodding her head. She didn't mind anymore what she just felt.
She quickly went outside, where a white limousine is waiting for her.
It will be the luxurious car that will bring her to the cathedral.
"What took you so long?" Abi scolded her while she's retouching Maricella's simple makeup, she help her put on the veil.
" sorry Abi, I accidentally bump with someone, did everyone is gone?"
" Yup, you know the tradition here in the earthly world. You have to be the last one to arrive in the church, and everyone has to watch you walk in the aisle with your dad, and the Prince Charming has to wait in the altar" Abi rolled her eye at the end of her sentence.
It made Maricella laugh and eased away her uneasiness.
When the limousine came to a stopped in front of the cathedral Maricella, and Abi both went outside the car.
They form two lines starting with The Dean and his Daughter, Abi and Marcus, Queen Sophia and Princess Sophie, Maricella's mom, and Ms. Martha.
And Lastly, Maricella.
Maricella's dad, who's been waiting for her at the door entrance, gave her smile a warm smile.
He's wearing a simple black tuxedo. His hair is brush neatly in place, and Maricella knew it's her mom doing.
She notices a few lines in his forehead, but it didn't make him look old but more handsome instead.
He walks to her and gives Maricella a slight hug, careful not to ruin her bridal dress.
Maricella smiled and felt like she was again that small little girl who always want his attention.
"You have grown into such a fine lady, my little princess.." He said to her before looking away, but those impending tears won't escape Maricella's watchful eyes.
She smiled a bit. Luckily there's a veil that conceals her face. She guesses being emotional is normal at times like this.
When the door open, the music started.
Slowly everyone in line walked and took their place in the front row and the second sitting row near the altar..
When it was me and my dad's turn, the music change and the nostalgic song they always play in the wedding day start to flow inside the cathedral.
Slowly we start to walk. I felt my heart beating faster.
When we were in the middle of the aisle, I saw Dalton standing there with a proud look and happiness in his face.
I smiled at him and mind-link him," I love you, my love..."
But he never replied.
Strange just before they head down the hotel, Maricella can still talk to him through their mind link.
Does Dalton shut her out of his head without knowing?
When we're almost at the front and only a few distant apart from Dalton.
The music stopped, and a loud clap echoed inside the church.
"Ohh, this is a stunning view to my eyes"those gray eyes look straight on Maricella's eyes with annoyance.
Then in just one blink of her eyes, he shifted right next to her. Maricella felt again scary vibe she felt in her dream his muscled arms encircled around Maricella's waist.
"Though it could be perfect if you wed with me rather than a pesky Demon, I prinkípissá mou," he whispered to Maricella's ears that sent cold chill in her body.
Instantly Maricella's Dad came to protect her, but like she remembers who he is and where did, Maricella first saw him.
He waves his hand, and Maricella's Dad went flying to the empty raw of wooden chair until he smash to the wall, it was so strong that the wall from the cathedral crack leaving Maricella's dad fall unconsciously.
She screams in horror seeing her dad lifeless form on the ground.
Ohh no?!
It can't be happening?!
Not my dad, please!
She prayed while tears start to shed in her eyes.
Maricella heard her mom scream in horror before collapsing on the ground.
The Queen tried to come nearly to us, but Sophie and Abi stopped her.
Luckily they did, because it seems like this vampires is not just an ordinary vampire.
There's a frightening fear that each and everyone that is a vampire in the cathedral felt.
This person must be a high royalty to produced such a frightening aura.
She remembered the scene in her dreams, Maricella scan the surrounding in search for Dalton.
"where is he?!
She looked around, and She saw him fighting to a female vampire.
When she scanned the surrounding, she saw everyone run to the side while Marcus and the dean tried to help.
They attack the female vampire to avert her attention to them.
Without hesitation, Dalton shift right next to the guy who held my waist, he gave him a powerful smack on his face. Anger and death were written all over Dalton's face. His eyes are pitch black.
The stranger welcome it
like it was nothing to him, his face didn't even move or show any hint of pain.
Then Maricella watch as Dalton uses his power to melt him down, but it causes only a little burn in his skin.
Like ashes, it floats in the air like a thin dust, and there's no trace of burn skin after.
He smirk annoyingly to Dalton, taunting him with his hair crawling laugh.
"Is that all you got?!
Well, to give you some merit that scratch me a bit, now it's my turn!" And with that, he waves his hand and Dalton went floating in the air before his body smash to the wall, then he let go of Maricella and went shifting next to Dalton.
He punches Dalton's face and smash it on the ground.
It was so loud that Maricella could hear her husband cracking bone.
She screams in agony.
She felt everything, but she can't mind-link him.
When she saw that his lifting him again, upon the ground,
Maricella didn't hesitate anymore.
She flung onto him, but the moment she landed
his hand catch Maricella by my neck and lift her.
Choking Maricella stared at Dalton's eyes.
Tears are overflowing in her eyes.
It's killing her to see his face barely noticeable, and Dalton is just half-conscious.
Maricella felt light-headed due to her lack of oxygen.
There are few black dots in her vision, and she knows its just a matter of time before she would lose consciousness.
It was then she heard him say.
"It's not yet you're time I prinkípissá mou," then he slowly let Maricella down, and she collapses on the ground struggling to grasp some air.
"Bid goodbye to you're husband before we go. You might not see him again." He said in a monotone voice before letting Dalton's body fall on the ground.
Even though Maricella didn't regain her normal breathing yet, she struggled by crawling her way to her husband side,
She grasped him in her arms and kissed his bloody lips.
She knows he will survive this because if he dies, then as she.
His pain is her pain, and his death is her death too.
That is how a demon form a bond with his mate.
They shared a life.
Dalton tried to speak, but he couldn't say much.
One thing that came out clearly in his mouth.
"I'm sorry, I will find you, my love," then his eyes closed.
Maricella gently lay Dalton's head on the ground before she stood up to face the stranger in front of her.
There are a few veins that are popping on her forehead.
Maricella is furious about this guy! How dare he hurt her loved ones!
If she doesn't care about anything, the thoughts of fighting till death wasn't a problem. But Dalton is still alive and so as her baby.
"Who the hell are you?!
Why are you doing this?! What do you want from me?!"
Maricella roared in anger, but he just smiled at her before closing the distance between them.
