Chapter 1 - Goodbye

A soft breeze softly blowed through the trees and grass, while the sun bathed a girl on the ground as she looked up at the sky. Her light brown hair looked like it was dyed to a golden-ish color because of the sun. She sighed, as she came to realize what was going on and she could feel tears forming in her eyes. "Aria!" Someone cried from behind her. She quickly wiped her eyes with her shirt and faced them. "Yes Mom?" Aria's mom was smiling although there was still something wrong to that smile. Almost as if she have been crying. "Did you pack your things? You aunt wouldn't like it if she had to continue coming here because you left something."

"Yeah mom, I have everything.."

"Ok then sweetie.."

Even that replied sounded like it was hiding something, almost like hiding a secret.

"I'll be fine...I won't die." Aria laughed nervously."

"I know I know...come on, get in the car it's time to go."

They got in the car, and made their way to her aunts house, the entire car ride having said nothing. Once they arrived, Aria took one look at her house. It was a white, two story house with a neat porch that had fresh looking flowers with the greenest grass she's ever seen. She knocked on the door and went to go help her mother with the bags. Her aunt soon came out of the house and helped as well. After they finished, her aunt hugged them and smiled. "I didn't expect you to be so early."

Aria laughed nervously again. "Yeah...aunt Lucy."

Lucy gave her a neutral look and faced her mother. "Would you like some tea?"

"Mhm."

It passed some time until it was time for her mom to go. She faced Aria and smiled. Aria looked at the ground and felt those tears again. "Do I have to stay?"

"Yes Aria, it's necessary."

"...Ok.."

Her mother hugged her for some time then stood up and went towards the door. Aria felt frightened. This was the first time she's felt alone, helpless. Unable to do anything but watch. It wasn't going to be easy, no...nothing's ever easy. Moving out of your own parents house at age 11 is never easy...right?

Aria watched as the door closed behind her mom and turned to face her "new" family. Her aunts family. Oh boy.

This is going to be hard.
