While days passed on, there was a severe drought and slowly the people of sankha kshetra suffocated. The king consulted his ministers and made a deal with neighbour kingdom for food supplies. Slowly the king's wealth was decreased. He (the king) had ran out of his hope and decided to emerge his kingdom with his neighbour's. That night started the beginning of history. Rain had met  the city, people were happy that their bad day's were over. Soon the rain started to be a thunderstorm. Everyone thought that their kingdom was cursed. The night of the thunderstorm, king had a dream. In his dream there appeared a bright light telling him that it is non another than Lord Jagannath and said that "Earth is near to end. Negative radiation is around, It's time to create positive spirts. I will help you with that. Margosa (neemwood) will reach the river bank by the sun set, take it and put the log on a stone. Build four walls with a door around the stone. Lock the door for 7 days and open it on 8th. We(Lord Balabhadra, Goddess Subhadra and Lord Jagannath) as deities will be on Ratnavedi (stone) to protect the world.Remember do not open before 7th day. Bless you".  The king woke up suddenly and thought about the dream.

The next day king said about the dream with his minister and ordered his gaurds to bring a neemwood that floats on the river bank. His gaurds went to the river bank in heavy rainfall.Meanwhile a room was bulit around a stone.By the sun set they bought the neemwood. The king had ordered to place the log on the stone and lock the door. He secured the room with guards.Next day the guards went to the king that they heared different sounds in that room while gaurding. This continued for 5 days but the king refused to open the door. On the 6th day the sound started again, this time the guard has lost his patience and opened the door. Suddenly the sound has stopped and the guard lost his eye sight. The news spread to the king and went to that place. He went inside the room and saw the deities unfinished. A vision appeared to him that the carvation was done by the Lord himself. He bowed in front of the statues and started to cry.
