This old man is the vice principal of the institution, Mr. Klaus, who is also an Early Meister level Advancer. His slim yet long figure and intrusive gaze could instill fear within the students such that when their eyes meet his', they couldn't help but feel dread within. He has a blanket of oppression around him that even other teachers are scared around him. It is said that before in his prime, he had once killed a Mini Boss tier monster during a dungeon break. Since then, he was considered a top powerhouse of this village. Since then he was nicknamed the 'Killer Klaus'.
The students quickly return to their positions and maintain decorum. Class teachers of each classes who had lead them here till now leaves them and joins others on the stage. All the teachers then gather in back side of the stage. There were a few people Zeno could recognise among them. But he decides to ignore them since it doesn't matter anymore.
7 senior class students, 3 boys and 4 girls come on stage to sing the national anthem of the Kingdom of Regalia. After the anthem, there is a welcoming speech from a teacher whom Zeno hadn't met before. Then, the teacher invites the principal to talk few words to the students.
The principal is also an old man like 'Killer Klaus' however that is all they have in common. Unlike Klaus, he has a short stature of only about 4.7 feet and also possess a shining bald head. He has a noticeable mole on his right cheek and always wears a wide smile on his face. He is a person you can always approach whenever you are in need. He is Adrius, a Late Meister level Advancer.
He comes on to the stage and looks at each one of them and starts to convey his thoughts.
"Do you know what I see, when I look at the lot of you, guys?"
"Potential, far greater than those in our generation possessed. The potential to be able to protect yourself and your loved ones. The potential to be the strength holding this nation together. The potential to grow up to become a Meister or a Grand Meister or maybe much more."
"But right now, you all are nothing but a baggage. First you must atleast possess the strength to protect yourself before you can protect others. There are many among you who have lost their loved ones to the monsters in the dungeon. That's why do not waste your potential and life by continuing to become a baggage. Become strong enough to rid the world of these monsters."
"One of the most valuable gifts anyone of you could ever receive now, is the gift of knowledge and experience. That is what we are here for. Here you have experienced Professional level Meisters lined up here to act as your guide. You can even approach me or Mr. Klaus at any time during academy time to clarify your doubts."
"I just hope to see all of you live through another Dungeon break. The assembly is dismissed. You may return to your classes."
Saying so Mr. Adrius finishes his speech and the students return to their classes behind their class teachers. Zeno also returns to the class along with Paul and his other new classmates. However before going, he decides to try out another skill he was planning to do for some time.
"Skill: Scanner Vision"
The whole world around him turned into a Mmorpg game screen that moment. All those people left in the ground that moment gained a status screen containing a name and a level above them realtime, which no one could see except Zeno.

He felt he could view whoever status he wished with just a word and no one would notice. Truth be told, he had used this skill to find Adam, but no status with the name Adam came up. However many of the teachers including Klaus and Adrius noticed something was going on but couldn't find the source in the crowd. Just when Zeno thought Adrius would figure out his location he cancels the skill. He goes along with the students vacated from the ground to blend in and not get caught.
"Did you just feel that?"
Klaus asks Adrius to clarify looking around here and there targeting innocent bystanders with his death glare. Whoever sees him turns their head down not to get on his nerves. Even though he is in a position lower than Adrius, he addresses the latter casually because they were friends from youth and had many adventures together.
"Yes, don't worry. It isn't one of those spies. It was from one of our students.
I don't know who, but I could almost locate him. Just means he has good senses too. Not bad."
Adrius answers after a moment of silence with a smile. He walks away with a jiggle in his step making it look like he was impressed.
"How presumptuous!!"
Klaus declares in a grave manner. He didn't like being watched. He didn't like the fact that he was on the receiving end of someone else's skill and moreover didn't know who it was.
Coming back to Zeno, he was sweating bullets and was tired from the endeavour. He looks at his own status only to notice that he had lost cosiderable energy points.

Zeno was thinking about it all along the way even when he had reached his desk. Paul noticing that Zeno was occupied with something spends his time checking out other kids in the class.
Their class teacher Sherlyn comes into the class and tells them all about the subjects they have to study this year. They have 5 subjects this year. Language studies, Mathematics, Basic Science, Social Science, and Battle Arts.
The rest of the morning went on smoothly without much adventure. Different teachers came and taught different subject with the same instinct and order they had been doing for years. Sherlyn was the one who taught the Language studies and was the most difficult one for Zeno.
Mathematics was the least hardest for Zeno since they were teaching most basic level maths from earth. Social Science was just about the different cultures and different categories of Gifts present in the continent. Thanks to it, he came to knew that there are mainly 6 types of Gifts.
1. Construct Gifts: Soul Gifts that are basically some sort of construct of a weapon or a tool that enables the user to utilise its extrinsic and intrinsic properties. These Gifts are most commonly found in the residents of Kingdom of Regalia.
2. Control Gifts: Soul Gifts that allows the user to control a certain type of force or matter and maybe its derivative forms. These Gifts are more prevalent in the kingdom occupying the other half of the Warguard Empire, The Kingdom of Imperia.
3. Class Gifts: Soul Gifts said to be the evolved form of both Construct Gifts that can be found in the Warguard Empire and among the Warring Nations. A person possessing this Gift will gain a class/job and will gain abilities pertaining to the job.
4. Bloodline Gifts: Soul Gifts that allow the user to transform into a beast or monster or even divine beings and use abilities belonging to the said entity. These Gifts are present throughout the Bloodstar Empire residents.
5. Super Gifts: Soul Gifts that are considered a variant form of Control Gifts. It allows the user to wield a superpower of some sort. However it encompasses all kinds of abilities that comes along with the sort of superpower. These gifts appear very rarely in the continent.
6. Unique Gifts: Abilities that cannot be classified under any of the above categories are called Unique categories. These are also very rare similar to Super Gifts.
Zeno was interested in each of the subjects except for the Language Studies since it involved mostly rote memorisation of languages in the continent. Since it was basic level, he could adjust for now.
Basic Science is the most interesting among all the subjects he had witnessed till now. It involves basically physics, chemistry and biology but there is a difference from those from the modern Earth. That is the influence of World energy on matter and other forms of energy and forces that bring about a new effect on the world unlike on Earth.
For example, in cases of gun powder which should explode when exposed to a spark may not even ignite unless certain conditions regarding World Energy are met. Even nuclear reactions are restricted by micro level World Energy which can exist in many forms. Many laws of physics that he had considered unbendable till now are obsolete in this world now. Since they are in primary classes, knowledge regarding these matters are not made available to them. Whatever, he has time on his side and he can explore them at a leisurely pace.
The next and the last subject for the day is the Battle Arts. It is basically the Physical Education equivalent from earth, but here it is considered the most important subject among all of these. There was a news that, a new teacher was coming to teach them. Zeno just hopes she is good enough compared to others.
Afternoon was going to start and all the kids in the classroom were excited to start their Battle Arts class. This is the only subject in which everyone gets to use his Gift without restriction. Moreover they were very much expecting their new Battle Arts mentor.
When the bell struck, the door to the classroom was dragged open. All the students in the classroom went back to their seats and waited for the teacher to enter the class. But no matter how much they waited, they couldn't see anyone entering. Then some of the students from the front bench strain themselves from their seats to look outside the class. That was when they noticed their new mentor.
Black rimmed rectangular glasses paired with a white shirt having a flowery design tucked in gave them the impression that he was not that much of a strict guy. Brown pants matching the brown leather shoes covering the short legs gave an impression that he was someone with a colour sense. Peach coloured skin paired with sapphire like pair of eyes made the pupils of the girls who looked at him turn into hearts. But the most noticeable thing about the mentor is the fact that he has an attention drawing snow white hair and is also very much younger compared to other teachers.
The kids who had strained themselves before straightened their body and asks to their neighbours
"Is this a joke?"
The mentor comes inside after having prepared enough. It seems he was nervous for his first class. He goes inside and starts to talk as prepared.
"Hello, My name is Adam. I am your new Battle Arts teacher. Nice to meet you."
He says with a charming smile that many of them especially girls conveniently forgot the fact that he was just two years older than them.
Seeing this Zeno couldn't help but say out loud in amazement.
"What the fu*k..!!??"
