When Nil got to detention , she saw some more kids in detention and they were all jerks, so once Nil took her seat in detention, another kid behind her has been throwing old pieces of paper at Nil, and whenever she tried to confront him or tell him to stop it, the teacher would yell "no talking!", sense Nil didn't want to get into more trouble, she just tried to ignore the paper. When Nil's parents came, Nil looked at the floor just so she could avoid eye contact, but she took a little peek. In Mary's face, all Nil saw was disappointment. And when Nil looked at Johns face, all she could see was that John hid all the anger and rage in him by just showing a face that doesn't even care. *While walking home*.(the boy who was throwing paper at Nil name is Jay). While Nil them were walking home, Jay followed them because he was planning a prank on Nil. Once Nil them went inside the house, Jay heard yelling, screaming, crying and clanging. He climbed a tree that was near the window of the apartment. He saw Nil and Mary bleeding,and it turns out, John opened up the scar on Nil's right eye. Jay was so terrified that he fell off the tree, and ran home.
