The king looked down into the nest, gazing back up were the brightest pair of sky blue eyes he had ever seen. His baby boy was staring at him with the curiosity of an infant. The king was a stately looking man. With jet black hair that stood on spikes going back. His neatly trimmed beard was also jet black, covering a chiseled jaw and stately face. His eyes were like demons staring into your soul. The outer part of his arms and legs were covered with black scales. He wore a simple tunic with no sleeves and a simple leather belt. His wings were folded behind him so as not to cause a ruckus. Inside the nest were fur coats and wool blankets. Laying in the middle was a beautiful woman, maybe in her early twenties. She had sky Blue hair. Eyes that looked like they had little white clouds moving across the sky in them. She was elegant and angelic, her body slim, covered in a simple white dress, made of course material. Her arms and legs were also covered in scales the color of her hair as well. Her wings spread out in the nest to hold close her dearest treasure. In her arms was a little baby boy, no more than two weeks old. His eyes were like staring into a star, bright little midnight eyes. His scales were only barely showing, and his little wings had just popped out the day before. He looked around the world about with the curiosity of a baby. Everything being a new sight for him. The parents looked at their child with the love only a parent could hold for their children. As they watched him intently a slight rustle at the entrance to the cave set them on nerves.
