Chapter 18 - Chapter 17 - The Stalker

Alas! The scrutiny was triumphant through the employment of Jun, who was the deep penetration investigator of Kenneth and Leonor.

They were relieved of their discovery that their doubt was wrong.

Their eldest son was a true young boy

who was growing up to be a gentleman.

With Kelly's request that Jun should be together with them, they shouldered some of his expenses in school. They were classmates till they were in senior high school and graduated at the age of seventeen years

old and was about to be eighteen.

If Kelly's age increased, so did Lizbeth Mae's. Like him she was already twenty one years old who was about to be a degree older.

The more she's becoming matured, the more she had become more appealing before the eyes of her opposite sex.

However, true to her promise with her parents, she never entertain a suitor in any place. Her suitor should wooe her at their home. The moment any suitor visited her at their home, agent Kardo Dimagiba who was Kenneth's best friend became busy investigating the personal and family background of the wooer.

Having been a college student who was at the same time a part time worker, Lizbeth Mae was as busy as her parents.

She didn't even had time to entertain her suitors. Even though, a suitor would be in their house to wooe her, still she rarely had the time to be with him.

She had made a schedule of her daily activities in life from Mondays to

Sundays. Sometimes she would be forced to entertain her suitor for only ten minutes. Whether the man would leave or not, as long as she had already spent her ten minutes entertaining him, she deemed it more than enough of her spare time that should had been spent recharging for her spent energy in working, studying, and doing household chores.

Having been very busy with her daily routine, this young adult who was the first born child of Kenneth and Leonor was unaware that she had a stalker.

He was a good looking young man who was five years older than her. Like her father, he was also an aircraft pilot who had just acquired his commercial pilot license.

He first saw Lizbeth Mae when

her whole family went for a holiday celebration in U. S. A. From that time on,

nothing was unknown to him about the young lady. However, he was a stranger to Kenneth as this stalker's home base was in New York City whose flight destination was in Europe. Whereas, Kenneth's home base was in the Philippines with NY City as his flight destination.

To think that there were a big crowd huddling in that busiest airport in New York City with millions & millions of passengers, these two diverse creatures in cultural background and race had his blue eyes met with the black-eyed lady.

To Lizbeth, it was nothing to her... just a random American blue-eyed man who met her eyes just like those around them. But, to Theodore it was a blessing that he had seen the lady of his heart's preference.

Despite his supposedly scheduled flight, he rang the concerned airport staff that a personal problem had cropped up. His personal problem was

to be the stalker of Lizbeth Mae. That was the time when he had used his connections to know more about Lizbeth by pretending to be a random

fellow tourist lady of her age who was conducting a research work for her report in her class about Asian countries. And one of them was Philippines, Lizbeth's country.

And base on reliable information, Kenneth had never socialised even with his fellow Filipinos once he was on land. It's either staying alone in a hotel room to rest or tending the needs of his family at their home.

Thereby, Kenneth Allen's family

had never known the obsessive longing

of this American pilot to her daughter.

Had they learned that he came to the Philippines to stalk his daughter, then he could had done some precautionary measures. Or.. Had he been aware of

this stalker, then he could had warned

her daughter about him.

They were totally oblivious of the

oncoming disaster in their lives, if it would be considered like one. But.. for Theodore his plan wouldn't be a danger

to Lizbeth Mae. In fact he planned to be her man slave who would be more than willing to yield on her every wish and command.

Lizbeth Mae had her regular three day-summer vacation in NY City since she was eighteen years old. Everytime she went there, she would visit one attraction spot.

At eighteen she was an Asian tourist who huddled with her fellow tourists to feel and gasped at the man-made wonder of the Statue of Liberty National Monument at New York Harbour, Central Park.

Her one whole day wasn't enough exploring it.

The next year she went was at nineteen when she spent her second day at the Times Square. She was overwhelmed with excitement and thrill experiencing the bright lights and Broadway shows.

Her twentieth years old had her third summer vacation spent in the Metropolitan World Class Art Collection.

The venue gave her fantastic feeling as she was admiring the collected arts preserved in this place.

Unaware of her surroundings, her stalker decided to introduce himself with

her. To get her attention and to open up a conversation, he slightly bumped her

furtively as though it was accidental.

His strategy was effective that he was able to escort her wandering in that

place and he had also invited her to eat dinner with him.

He introduced himself's name as Theodore Kit Smith, a certified commercial pilot like her father. This man, made it known to her that he was still an available bachelor, no live-in partner, no girlfriend, and had been waiting for the right lady love for him.

She found him an eloquent conversationalist who could open up a topic of her interest. The whole time they had introduced one another until they separated for their abode, there was no dull moments nor a second that gave them an awkward feeling.

Theodore Kit was victorious making his first step to befriend the lady who was holding his heart unawarely.

In contrast, Lizbeth Mae's exhausted body was immediately

lulled into deep slumber. She had no time lingering to her newly found acquaintance who made her day great

while admiring the art collection.

She left NYC without bothering to

shave on the man whom she had dined in with and accompanied her in her expression of magnanimous feeling with the indescribable collections.

With the discreet background check

made by Theodore Kit on this glamorous lady, he knew that she had no social media account, a contact number is never shared to anyone except for her family, and no suitor being entertained elsewhere except at home. He had known this information the first day his heart had crazily throbbed for her when

he had his alibi at work that a personal problem cropped up.

In other words, she wasn't easy to access with. But... he felt that he was very fortunate using his effective technique in launching his first step of his plan A- to be one of her suitors.

Determined to wooe her in his own

means, he was able to extract an information that her fourth summer vacation would be spent to enjoy going up that one hundred three story landmark with observations at Empire State Building after her graduation rite in college with the course in Bachelor Science in Secondary Education--major in English subject.

If God forbids to let them meet

each other once more, then, he was the luckiest man on earth.

To be certain of the exact schedule of her vacation, he requested his Filipino friend to get the date for her graduation ceremony for him to estimate when to file his leave of absence application.

Therefore, for him it was not a surprise to meet her in that Empire State Building in contrast with what Lizbeth Mae thought that it was another unintentional meeting.

Just like her last summer vacation she was thankful to meet someone who was friendly and a gentleman. What's more was she deemed her to be lucky to meet an acquaintance whose race was different from hers.

Accompanying her once again was like shrugging off her strange feeling in a foreign land. She was more adamant in exploring such place with someone whom she likewise accidentally met last year.

Her upbringing not to easily trust other people seemed to be forgotten that she gave her contact number to him. Not only her two cell phone numbers of her two sim cards were given but a land line as well, both in her work and in their house.

She regretted her impulsive generosity about giving her contact numbers on her way home to her country after her three-day summer vacation.

"Would she buy another two sim cards? But... the land line.... they couldn't be changed at once unlike sim cards."
