"I had loads of fun. Thanks, Dad. Thanks, Anita," Selena said with excitement as she hopped out of the car with her father's phone in hand. She couldn't wait to check out all the photos they had snapped together.
They had gone to the amusement park as promised, and she had felt like an average child for the first time in her life.
Having her father together with Anita, who other kids assumed to be her mother had made her feel really normal. Her father's idea of fun had always been just the both of them alone, and she had always felt sad each time they went to the park, and she had to watch other mothers fixing their daughters' hair or tying their loose ribbons.
She had deliberately loosened the ribbon Min-Jung had tied on her hair several times while playing, only to run back to Min-Jung to have it fixed. She smiled at the memory as she ran into the house. She really wished the day could go on forever.
