"I have to figure out the current things before it slips out of the hands."
Ray Ji shoved his cellphone back into the pocket and walked towards the door where he encountered Ava, the little devil was looking at him with keen eyes and a meaningful stare.
"What are you looking at, kid?"
The right hand man could not comprehend a single reason for which Ava could be there waiting for him. Or possibly she was eavesdropping on him, was she suspicious now?
"Uh? Nothing, waiting for you to end the call so we could go out for an ice cream with aunt Renna."
Ava responded while swirling her hair strand as a grin was gracing her little lips, Ray Ji raised his eyebrows in a suspicious manner thinking that she must have heard something.
"With your aunt Renna?"
He repeated the statement and again something in his chest shattered into millions of pieces. But somehow he had composed himself and replied to Ava's request which seemed more like an order.
