Lisa tried to ignore Tom as she drove down the busy highway.
Ever since they left the Bar, he had been shifting about in the backseat like a restless little cat.
She took in another deep breath and tried her best not to blow up at him.
'Don't get angry Lisa. Don't get angry' She reminded herself over and over and over again.
She had never seen anyone as stupid as the Sissy. Just a month back, he had almost been shot to death by an hitman. Though Mr Hwang was still desperately trying to find the person who had sent those hitmen to his son, she knew the particular person who had sent them.
Fast forward to a month later, he was busy having fun in a bar late at night.
He threw a tantrum about not wanting too many bodyguards around him, and he had refused to stay in his family's house.
Staying in his family's house would have made her job and mission a whole easier but because he was stupid, he had to stress her.
The more she thought about it, the angrier she got.
'So useless' She cussed him in her mind.
'Isn't she supposed to ask me what's wrong? Is that not the reason why she's my bodyguard? So annoying' Tom thought to himself as he looked for the best position to relax his body but no matter how much he tried, he still did not feel comfortable.
"About earlier..." He cleared his throat and began to speak.
"When you're on duty, you should be focused. Not having fun with men" He chided her.
'Not having fun with men?' Lisa tried to understand what he actually meant by that statement.
Did he even have the right to speak to her that way?
For the past few days he seemed to be picking offence with any and every thing she did.
Even when she jogged with him in the mornings, he always complained that she was too fast. When she tried to slow down, he would tease her and call her a tortoise.
And now he was complaining about her talking to a man when she had just been sitting there the entire time doing nothing?
"Are you listening to me?" He asked when he noticed she was not saying anything. Her gaze was still on the road like he had not said a word to her.
"I can hear you" She said rather coldly as her grip on the steering wheel tighten.
"Good. So give it to me." He demanded and stretched out his hand.
"What?" She asked with her still poker face.
"The card he gave to you. Hand it over"
Lisa remembered the man had slipped his card inside her purse and used a hand to search for it inside, while still trying to focus on the road.
She found it soon enough and threw it at him.
Tom did not actually mind that she was being rude. His major concern was that card.
He quickly picked it up and smiled contentedly.
Quickly, he wound down the window and flung it out.
"So as I was saying, you should avoid men. Especially men like that." He began to lecture.
Lisa remained quiet. Was he really advising her right now? Like seriously, Hwang Thomas was advising her against men?
"Okay" She managed to say when he ended his lecture with her attention still on the road.
He was finally able to relax and closed his eyes till they got to his house.
Once they entered, she gave him a halfhearted bow before locking herself inside her room.
He raised a hand and sent a fist towards her door.
"What a weird human being. Can't she at least say goodnight?" He complained in a low voice.
Now, he was bored.
He was not used to spending Friday nights like this.
Shouldn't he have taken a girl with him out and make Germany wait for them in the car while fuming with anger?
But he shook out that thought. He wanted her to smile. He wanted to see how she looked when she smiled.
He suddenly remembered Joel's suggestion and a smile lit up his face.
All he had to do was go online and search for the type of movie that would either cause her to blush, cry, laugh, or get scared.
Even if it meant searching all night, he was going to do so and tomorrow night, he was going to make her see a movie with him.
He soon began to chuckle before strolling inside his room while humming a song.

Lisa quickly manipulated the listening bugs before connecting a call to her Boss while standing at attention.
"How's it going over there?" His deep voice asked through the video call.
"So far, all's been good."
"Remember this is very important to us all. You must not mess it up." He reminded her.
"Yes Boss!" She bowed again.
He was about to end the call, but he stopped to remind her of something.
"And be careful. You know he has a reputation of messing with women. You just remember why you were sent there."
Lisa's brows knotted when she heard that.
What was her business with him, and why should her boss be worried about that?
They should be begging her to not kill him instead.
"I won't ever forget that." She bowed again before the line went dead.
Once she lay on the bed after freshening up, she tried to sleep but her eyes remained wide open.
She knew it was going to be impossible for her to sleep right now since her body was already accustomed to not getting much sleep.
In a day, she slept for only three hours or less and she was never a deep sleeper. A single sound could make her eyes instantly shoot open.
To while away time, she picked up her phone and decided to go through the latest news.
As she kept scrolling, she saw a news featuring Mr Hwang, Thomas' father.
So far, he seemed to be the favourite contestant of the people compared to the other five who were vying for the same position.
Mr Hwang's photo was captured in an orphanage where he went to visit the kids and left gifts for them.
"Lame. Can't they ever think of something else instead?" She hissed.
Whenever one was contesting for a position, they were either seen at the Orphanage, hospitals, or taking up volunteer jobs.
She wasn't saying they should not do nice things. But the problem she had with them was— publicizing it.
"Bloody hypocrites" She thought to herself before tossing her phone aside.

A few hours later, Joel and Anna thought it was time they both went to their different houses also. But before then, they decided to have one last bottle of red wine.
"Isn't it weird that you're not hitting on any lady tonight?" Anna teased as she began to giggle drunkenly.
"Who says I'm not? You see that girl over there— at your three o'clock. I think the feeling is mutual between the both of us" Joel said with a smirk.
"You boys... How did I ever end up with the two of you?" She tsked after looking at the lady.
"If you were a guy, you probably would have been like us also"
"I doubt that." She rejected it.
"So about Jianhong, you seem to be into him now right?" He asked before gulping down a half glass of wine.
"Hmm... I don't know. He seem like a cool guy even though soldiers are often times coldhearted."
"So you no longer hate your parents for fixing you up with him?" He inquired further.
"Well.... I don't know." She shurgged her shoulders before sipping some wine and quickly changed the topic.
"What do you think Tom is doing right now?"
-------
"Ah! I got you!" Tom exclaimed excitedly once he read the plot of an Horror movie.
It featured ghosts!
"This is perfect. We're going to watch you tomorrow" He said pointing at his phone's screen.
"And you, you'll be for the day after" He pointed at a romcom that featured a lot of explicit sexual contents.
"Let's see who's going to win"
Tom? or Germany?
