"Why is the money short? I am certain I counted it earlier and it was more than this." Yera complained one evening after sales, turning to look at Hani with a frown.
"What is it?" Hani asked as she picked up her purse, ready to leave the cafe.
"The money is short."
"Who said so?" Hani asked indifferently.
"Me! Obviously."
"Then find it or something. Why do you always like to make issues out of irrelevant things?" Hani hissed as she head towards the door.
"I like to make issues? It's just us both who have an access to this drawer and I am certain the money is less than what I counted earlier."
Hani stopped just by the door and turned to look at Yera. "Are you trying to accuse me of stealing it?"
"I am only saying you should return the money if you took it. Our rent is overdue and if our money keeps growing wings or legs to walk out of the drawer, we are going to be thrown out of this place and also the apartment."
