Chapter 17 - Chapter 16

Stepping into the hanger the scent of gas, motor oil, grease, and hot metal greeted me like a mechanical perfume that tickled the nose with its pleasant scent. Relaxing slightly I smile softly and greet the more laid-back agents that did all their work in this hanger who eagerly greeted me reminding me of small puppies cooped up in a room all day. Most of the agents that worked here were kind gentle men and women who knew nothing of the horrors that the OIUS delt with on a daily basis.

As I was guided to a small supply plane that was to leave for the Brazilian jungle I happily spoke with one agent. He was a kind young man with dark hair bright eyes and  an oil smeared face who happily cracked jokes and smiled brightly like a child. The plane soon after took off with a roar that had me nearly reach to cover my eyes to protect them from the damaging sound. The flight to our destination was quiet except for the beeping of the planes consul and the roar of the planes engines.

As the plane made its decent I took a deep breath. My focus was on nothing in particular at the moment skimming over yet content of the plane. There were crates of supplies, a suitcase, and a few gun and weapon cases all strapped down securely. What waited for me was not what was expected
