Yao Yue stared at him in confusion. She didn't understand if he was directing the statement to her or that he thought she was someone else, especially since she and Tian Ying rarely ever interacted. Most of the time he just glared at her every time their eyes met, causing her to believe that he absolutely hated her after the comment she made to him on the first day. Never would Yao Yue think that he liked her at all with that type of interaction. But then, there were times he defended her like during breakfast on the second day and one time during training when a disciple of the Shui Sect taunted her for her "weak" fighting skills. Even so their interaction was so limited, it seemed impossible for Tian Ying to like her.
"Childe Tian, what did you just say? That you like me?" Yao Yue asked, trying to get him to confirm what he had said.
"Mmm," he nodded in agreement, gripping her hand tighter.
"Why...why?"
He looked up at her and smiled, which was something that Yao Yue had never seen before. "Because I like you."
"But is there any specific reason?" An idea suddenly appeared in her head. "Like, do I remind you of anyone you once knew..?"
"Mmhmm... You do... You remind me of..." Tian Ying's voice drifted off as he began to close his eyes, not letting Yao Yue hear what she reminded him of. "...was also from...from the Mo Sect..."
"Who? Who was also from the Mo Sect?"
She didn't get an answer as she heard a soft snore coming from the now sleeping Tian Ying. She sighed with a small bit of frustration in her voice. Yao Yue was so close to finding out his relationship with the Mo Sect, but at the same time she felt like she already knew.
She waved her free left hand and a small box appeared. It was the box that had held the blood soaked needle she had taken from her first night at Yun Tian Di. Yao Yue broke the spell on the box and the needle floated out in front of her. She smelled it, remembering its scent. The blood was a mixture of the Tian Sect's and the Mo Sect's, which was the reason why she had kept the needle in the first place. She had the needle sealed back into the box and before turning to look at the sleeping Tian Ying. Yao Yue had a sneaking suspicion that this blood belonged to Tian Ying, as his eyes looked just so familiar to her. They reminded someone she had once known from the Mo Sect.
"Just who are you...?" She mumbled, making the box disappear once more before laying her head down on the edge of her bed and closing her eyes.
"Princess Ling..."
Yao Yue's eyes suddenly flew open when she heard him speak. She stared at him in shock and waited to see if it was her imagination or if he would say the name again.
"Ling'er... where did... you go..." Tian Ying mumbled as he grasped Yao Yue's hand tighter.
She immediately began to shake him, trying to wake him up. She wanted to know how he knew the name. However Tian Ying didn't awake from his slumber and only allowed him to hold onto her hand tighter and closer to him. After a while, Yao Yue just gave up as he just wasn't waking up.
"How would you know of Princess Ling?" she asked, staring at his sleeping form. "She's one of the biggest secrets the Mo Sect has, no one outside should know of her existence. Not to mention the fact that only a handful of people were actually informed about her birth so how..." Yao Yue's eyes widened as she let out a gasp. "Unless... he's the son of one of those people? But how..."

Instead of waking up to the sound of Ri Ming Bell ringing, Yao Yue heard a loud bang from her door.
"Yao Yue of the Mo Sect! Are you in there!" came the angry voice of Tian Ying's cousin Tian Gang. "Open up the door!"
Yao Yue let out a yawn and began to stretch, only to realize that Tian Ying was still holding onto her hand. Tightly.
At that moment she remembered rule 364, male disciples were not allowed to sleep in the same room as a female disciple. Offenders of this rule would get at least one hundred strikes on their back. Both she and Tian Ying were so screwed, although this was mostly all of Yao Yue's fault as she realized what she had done.
"Yao Yue of the Mo Sect! Open up this door!" Tian Gang yelled, as he began to kick at the door, which she had put a seal on to prevent people from barging in ever since Tian Ying did on the first night.
Unfortunately, Tian Ying began to awake from his sleep. His eyes slowly opened and looked around the unfamiliar environment to see where he was. And then, he saw Yao Yue and immediately tried to pull himself away from her. Except that failed since he was still gripping onto her hand and ended up pulling her onto the bed, on top of him.
And at that moment, much to the horror of both Tian Ying and Yao Yue, Tian Gang broke the spell Yao Yue had placed on her door. He broke down the door and barged into the room, turning to look at the bed.
Immediate shock and horror took over his face. "Tian...tian Ying, you...!"
He immediately turned around and hurried out the door as Yao Yue looked away in embarrassment.
"We're screwed," she mumbled, a blush covering her face as she got out of the compromising position both she and Tian Ying were in. "We're definitely screwed, I screwed us both..."
