"Why...why did you..." The young man, clutching his chest and gushing out blood, looked bewildered. He seemed to die not knowing why Dugu Ruoxu would want to kill him.
Unfortunately, he couldn't ask anymore, he fell to the ground, clinging onto his last breathes, clearly on the verge of death.
The remaining young members of the Dugu Family, turned pale as they stared at Dugu Ruoxu, their eyes filled with fear and bewilderment.
Dugu Ruoxu's expression was cold as he sheathed his longsword, appearing as if he had done something quite ordinary. Yet in reality, he had brutally ended the life of a fellow clan member.
"Why did you kill him?" Dugu Nian asked. Even though she disliked the man, she wouldn't have killed him.
Dugu Ruoxu replied coldly, "I had my reasons for killing him."
After finishing his sentence, he gave no further explanation.
Yet, Steward Shen and Mei Yingxue appeared to see through something. They gave Dugu Ruoxu a few more glances, their gazes heavy with meaning.
