"No matter what, I must understand what this mountain is and why it holds my father's presence." Cradling the golden-haired puppy in his arms, Fang Lin dashed forward without any hesitation and soon arrived at the base of the odd mountain peak.
"Such a terrifying aura!" Standing on the scorched earth, Fang Lin looked up at the towering mountain before him, feeling an immense suppression.
This sense of suppression did not originate from the mountain itself but rather from the lingering energies of the Beast Cauldron and The Ancient Lamp of Flame God's previous attacks.
Just the residual energies alone were enough to make Fang Lin's body stiff and cold, as if he was about to be torn apart by them.
"Kid, what exactly are you trying to do? Running here without rhyme or reason. What if that fox takes another shot at this place, will you be able to escape?" The Old Dried Corpse asked, puzzled.
Fang Lin said, "I want to see for myself."
