Brenna, who had just laid Jeremy down for a late siesta, stepped out of her room and was surprised to see her parents leaving already.
"Come on, dad. You can't leave just like that," Brenna pleaded as she tried to take the bags from him.
"I said my piece already. I'm not going to stay under the same roof with her," He said in a stern voice, looking in the direction of Grace, who was seated on the Balcony with his mother.
"Dad, she is not her mother. And even if she was, would you have wanted me to treat Brenna's child, your grandchild, like this in the future if the case was reversed?" Brad asked reasonably.
