"Is Brad not coming down for dinner?" Melvin asked no one in particular. They were all seated in the dining, save for Brad, who was yet to join them.
"I'm here, but not for dinner," Brad said as he stepped out from the passageway, looking like he was dressed to go somewhere.
"You're not staying for dinner?" Melanie asked, looking at him curiously.
"No. I have to be somewhere," Brad said, glancing at his wristwatch. He didn't want Grace to get to the rooftop before him. This was supposed to be their first actual date together, and he intended to get there on time.
"Can I come with you?" Melvin asked hopefully.
"Sorry man, three is crowd," Brad said with a wink.
"You're going to see Grace," Tae-Joon said in a flat tone before turning to look at his grandfather's reaction, but the old man was already eating and not paying any attention to them.
