"I'll drive," Melvin offered immediately after they all got to where Tae-joon's car was parked while Brad was busy looking at his phone and waiting for Grace's response to his text.
"I will drive. You don't know the direction," Tae-Joon said as he opened the car for them to get in. He couldn't help feeling awkward about the whole family reunion thing.
What was he supposed to do or say to either Melanie or Melvin? Was he supposed to call her mom or Melanie or not just call her anything? How was he supposed to react? How was he supposed to treat Melvin? He wasn't used to this whole sibling business yet.
Chairman Wang looked at them all and almost smiled when he saw the discomfort on Tae-joon's face. He decided it was probably best to leave on his own while Melanie and her sons followed behind in Tae-joon's car. That should give them time to get over the bit of awkwardness he could feel was hanging in the air around them.
