Grace had no idea what she had been expecting Grandma Rosie to say or how she had been expecting her to react, but what she heard next was definitely not what she had been expecting.
"Oh! I see," Grandma Rosie said with an amused smile as she wondered what Grace was up to. She had no doubt that this person was her granddaughter, or how else could the resemblance to Maggie be explained?
"I'm serious. I'm not your granddaughter Ann," Grace said again with a frown.
"I heard you the first time," Grandma Rosie said without the smile leaving her face.
"So if you're not Ann, who are you, and why do you look so much like my Maggie? Or did Brad pay you to pretend to be my granddaughter?" Grandma Rosie asked.
"No. I know this might sound kind of crazy, but this is actually your granddaughter's body," Grace said and waited for grandma Rosie to either laugh or look at her like she was crazy.
