"Aunty Ann?" Jeremy called to get Grace's attention. Brenna had been leaving Jeremy with her a lot lately, and this was the third day in a row that she was having to babysit Jeremy.
Brad wasn't back from the movie production site yet, so the only person who she could spend her time with was little Jeremy since Grandma Rosie spent most of her time indoors, just resting.
"Jer?" Grace called back as she turned to give him her attention. She knelt down in front of him, so they were at equal eye level.
"I love you," Jeremy said, grinning up at her happily as he threw his arms around her neck.
Grace was slightly taken aback by the kid's open show of love, and somehow before she knew it, she was hugging the kid and patting his head. She had never been a kid person, but she was becoming really fond of this one.
