Henry sat on top of me.
My morning has always been like this. His fluffy tail wagging on top of my face, reminding me it was already 7:00 a.m and he wants his breakfast to be served. Damn this cat. Only cares for his tummy and nothing else. "Come on Henry, I only slept for 3 hours". I moved to my left side, making him slide down from my tummy. Surprisingly, he didn't sit on top of my head which he always does. I was wearing a happy smile and was about to drift on sleeping when it happened.
Henry peed on my left foot.
I had no choice but to get up, serve Henry his breakfast and clean my bed. My head was still throbbing. Ugh. If only I didn't take Nick's invitation to drink with him. I finished cleaning my room, put my bedsheet in the wash and changed it with newly ones. I went to my drawer and took a medicine to relieve my headache. I certainly won't go drinking with Nick again. The dude's girlfriend broke-up with him. He was crying non-stop for 2 days straight and invited me to a drink the third day. Well, I think life really is cruel to him because he saw his ex-girlfriend at the bar we went, kissing another guy. Okay everyone, he was not just any random dude that you'll commonly see today, but Rodan. YES! RODAN RAMIREZ! One of the hottest guy in our school. I faced Nick and whispered, "If I were your girlfriend, I will certainly break up with you and make out with Rodan too". The chicken-hearted dude cried and walked out of the bar( Yes dear readers, my friend is such a coward creature) .So we ended up drinking at aunt Lorie's store. We drank 3 bottles of beer and you can guess what happened next.
NO! Don't you ever dare think about that kind of situation!
"You passed out and aunt Lorie brought you here".
That's what mom told me earlier while I was changing my bedsheet. Readers, I want to clarify that me and Nick are cousins. So do not expect about us getting romantically involved. Ugh! Thinking of it gives me the chill. And by the way, aunt Lorie is my mother's childhood best friend. Such a great and awesome woman. She's married and has Cathleen as her only daughter. The throbbing of my head has already fade. I guess the medicine mom bought really works well. I peek outside my window and watched as the sun shines through my lovely rose garden. Ah. I can see the beauty of my lovely flowers up here in my room. Sometimes I would imagine them talking to me, telling me of how a great gardener I am. "Of course, I am great my lovely roses. I'll take good care of you and make sure you'd be adopted by great people". And they would answer,"Thank you great Azi. We will make sure that you'd get lots of money". Money! I saw six of my roses blooming so perfectly, waving at me, as if saying that they are now ready to be exchanged for money. I hurriedly took a shower, brushed my teeth and got dressed. Since the sun is shinning too brightly, I decided to just wear my blue short and crop top which prints "firmer". I checked the time and it was already 10:36.
"Everyone! I'll be out for a bit!". I shouted. "Okay Azi. But make sure you'll be back before 7".Mom shouted back from Faye's room". I guess dad already left for work. "Why? Are we going somewhere?".
"Dear, have you forgotten? Its aunt Zilda's birthday today".Oh right. Ugh. I hate going to any of my aunt's birthday celebration. There is no one with the same age as me. "Can I tag Cathleen along?", I asked. "Of course you can dear"."Okay then,I'll be back before seven". I went outside my garden and picked the roses. They were blooming perfectly. I'm sure Miss Glenda would pay me a bit higher for these roses. I mounted my bike, put the flowers inside the basket and went to trudge the road to Miss Glenda's flower shop. Miss Glenda is a beautiful middled-aged woman who lives 3 blocks away from my house. She is still single, and is still a virgin. Can you believe it?Because I can't.I do not know why she never had a family. I once tried to introduce her from one of my mother's guy friend. But she just said, "Azi, I do not need a man to make me happy". Maybe she just want to stay single for the rest of her life. For 2 years, she has been a consistent buyer of my roses. The first time she bought a rose she said to me," Azi, your roses mirror your personality". I was confused and asked her what she meant, but she was already busy accomodating her costumers. And from that two years, I never got the answer to my question. Well, i actually forgotten about it. I only remembered as I was telling you, my dear readers, about Miss Glenda. And I am also telling you why the fudge my bike won't stop. I had already passed at Miss Glenda's shop. Fudge! My brakes won't work! No matter what I do, I just can't stop. This will be the end of me. My eyes are now filled with tears, thinking what my family and friends would feel knowing that I died from a bike crash. They must think how foolish I am and would probably laugh at my funeral.
Henry! No, I cannot die yet. Who will take care of my dear Henry?Thinking about my cat woke up my desperation. I guess i'll just need to jump. So I braced my self, prayed to God for a second chance and promised to bring Henry to the vet every 3 months. Along with all these thoughts and desperation, I jumped away from my bike.
