"Hey guys," Lucella said in shock as they walked in. "The whole group is here?"
"Yup," Amya chuckled.
"We all get to walk to lunch together,'' she exclaimed.
"Oh, by the way, I'll leave my last box for this weekend, it's not really important, so I can open it then," Isaiah said.
"Cool, mind if I come too?" Blair asked.
"Yeah if our mom says yes," Everest replied.
"There's eight guests, full house," Lucella exclaimed. "Slumber party."
"Maybe, that'll be fun," Everest exclaimed.
"Alright class, time for warm ups," The chorus teacher called everyone to attention. After class they all walked to lunch together.
"So, was your sister ever in that class?" Isaiah asked Amya.
"Yes, and she dropped out the first day because I was in it," Amya sighed. "She even made Ella drop the class as well."
"I have no words," Everest exclaimed as they entered the cafeteria and got in line. After they got their food and sat at the table they started eating. A little bit later Ella slyly walked over.
"Hey, uh Amaya, can I talk to you in private," Ella replied and looked at the others nervously.
"Yeah sure," Amya replied and got up and walked to a secluded spot. "What is it?"
"You know how you told me to be careful of roads?" Ella said with a shaky voice.
"Yeah, are you ok?" Amya asked in concern.
"I had to cross the road yesterday after school because I walked home yesterday, I looked and then thought about what you said as I stepped close to the side of the road and stopped as a car flew by me," Ella's eyes were watering. "It was so close to me, I, I." Ella then started crying and hugged Amya tightly.
"Ella, I-I'm so sorry," Amya replied with a shocked sadness.
"Your brother saved me," Ella smiled with her eyes still watering. "I knew Emily was just saying you were faking that pain, you already had really good friends, Emily is such a liar, do you really get in trouble for it?"
"Yeah," Amya sighed.
"I'm so sorry," Ella replied and wiped her tears. "She did change after the incident."
"We both did," Amya replied.
"True," Ella said, then looked back at the others. "You should go back, Emily is probably already mad that I talked to you, and I've got to go do a couple things."
"Ok then, see you around," Amya smiled.
"See ya," Ella laughed as she walked to the door. Amya then went to the table.
"What was that about?" Felicia asked.
"Yesterday," Amya replied.
"Wait, what do you mean?" Blair asked.
"She almost got hit by a car yesterday," Amya replied. "She said my brother's a hero."
"No way," Katarmi said in shock.
"You should invite her and David too," Isaiah laughed.
"Ten guests at your house, are you nuts?" Lucella replied.
"Maybe," Isaiah laughed.
"I'll invite them over during art class," Amaya replied. "They're in my art class as well as Lucella.
"That's perfect," Everest exclaimed as the bell rang.
