Tini wakes up to the faint whisper of the doc and Cora, she makes sure to make it seem as if she was still asleep curiously listening in on their conversation.
"she may be physically repaired but she may never come to terms of what happened in the shop "said The doc. Who then looks at Cora grinning knowing what was going on.
"so your friends right" he says as he grins even wider.
"yes!" Cora says realizing the purpose of him smiling. " and that only!"
"so you don't even like her one bit in any other way?" he asks
"weh-I---- AAAGH!!" Cora silently screams in utter defeat her face as red as a tomato.
"ok, ok, ok" she says " i know we've only been travelling together for a few hours but , maybe I do think she's cute a little, is that what you wanted to hear" she says.
Tini's heart pounds in her chest as she lays their ever so still also blushing but facing away from the two. She gets up as if nothing had ever happened. The four rats all rush to her side full of energy and ready to get going. Even Beezus happily jumping and running around the room. The doc scolds him for this behavior and Beezus immediately stops and goes back towards him. Tini stares at the doc suspiciously and the doc quickly looks away. But then they here a slight banging noise as Beezus bumps into the stand that doc was sitting and for a minute tini saw what looked like a mechanical finger roll out from under but then got knocked back under by the rat.
"ok looks like it's time for you to go" doc says as beads of sweat start to roll down his forehead.
He then proceeds to give them their stuff, and then Cora hurries out the door and turns the corner out of the alley and tini looks back to see the doc in the door way smiling menacingly as pieces start to chip off revealing the tone of old clear plastic; he puts his finger to his lips to shush her and virtually disappears as the thing who was disguised as doc throws off his cloak and walks away leaving the destroyed remains of Beezus in the door way. Tini runs to Cora and keeps her mouth shut. leaving our precious Tini even more worse off then before, but we know one thing that he was right about She was fixed physically, but inside she was broken, but little did she know wounds always heal, but the scar will remind her to keep moving forward.
