Chapter 1- Yuki's side
I'm Yuki Izuna, a normal high school girl that lives a very normal life in a small town near Kyoto, a place where nothing exciting ever happens. Every day is quiet and nothing exciting ever happens here.
The most exciting thing that happened in the last few months is that it's been a bit chillier than normal, an unusual mass of cold air reached our town but in the end, that's nothing special.
I am bored, I want something interesting to happen. At school I get good grades, have good friends and get along well with the teachers but I still feel like something's missing.
But, for now I should really be going to school.
I usually walk to school since it's pretty close to my house and because I might see something interesting on my way there. I heard that today we are getting a transfer student in our class, I hope they are interesting. Who knows, I might even see them on my way to school.
As soon as I thought that, a boy passed by me. He wasn't doing anything special but for some reason he caught my eye. As soon as he passed me, a chill ran down my spine, for some reason I told myself that I shouldn't involve myself with him. He was tall and good looking, with an almost feminine beauty to him. He wore our school's standard suit-like uniform but with a black shirt underneath. His slightly messy black hair contrasted his pale skin, that and the dark colour of the uniform gave him a very dark, almost lonely look, and the small rosario that hanged around his neck made him look almos unaproachable.
Even though my body's instincts told me to stay away from him, my mind thought that perhaps, something interesting might happen to me for once in my life.
As I fell into a trance-like state, one of my friends arrived there and snapped me out.
We hurried to school and prepared for the first class, homeroom.
As usual, the teacher entered and made a few jokes before proceeding to make the dailly announcements, starting with the transfer student who was waiting outside to be called, when the teacher finnaly called them, I was surprised, it was the boy from earlier, but now, as he stood in front of the whole class, facing us, I got to see something else about him, his eyes. They were a dark shade of brown, but most importantly, they were bloodshot.
Perhaps he was excited to meet us and couldn't sleep last night or perhaps he stayed up gaming until late, but, most likely, he probably is just tired from all the formalities he went trough to transfer here.
-My name is Kuro Ishin, I'll be your classmate from today, I won't say we should get along but at least let's not bother each other.
Despite the unusual introduction, no one was paying attention to what he was saying, everyone was either chatting among their friends group or playing on their phone, I was left alone to look at him and became even more curious about him. Since the only empty seat in the class is the one in front of me the teacher sent him there.
As he sat down and unpacked his bag, I could only think about how interesting things might become from now on.
