Adams pov- It's the next day, or at least I think it is, I fell asleep at who knows when, I sit up against the wall, and that's when I hear the door knob start turning, I look over and the leader of this hell whole walks in and squats down in front of me. Leader "Morning sunshine" Adam "What do you want" Leader "Rude, but it's ok because I'm in a good mood" Adam "And why is that, if you don't mind me asking" Leader "Oh not at all, I was going to tell you if you didn't want me to or not anyways" Adam "Mmmm". Leader "I've got a date with your little friend today". I feel my face drop, and I can feel the color draining from my face, all the life in my body is gone. Adam's mind "There's no way, it's not possible, how did he get in contact with them, is he talking about Kayden?". So many things are racing through my head, I can't get one thought fully finished before another pops into my head. And by the grin this ass whole has plastered on his face, I know I look as bad as I feel. After I finally get a hold of myself, I manage to scream out, "YOU CAN'T GO ANYWHERE NEAR THEM I WON'T LET YOU TOUCH THEM, YOU BETTER STAY AWAY FROM KAYDEN AS WELL". I'm out of breath as I watch the smile on his face drop. He slaps me, hard enough for me to hit my head on the floor, he grabs me by the collar of my shirt and brings me close enough so that he can whisper in my ear. Leader "I don't give a shit about your little whiny ass boyfriend" he throws me back against the wall and stands up. Breathing is hard, let alone trying to talk, but I need to know what he's after, Adam "W-who do you want then". He turns his head just enough to glance at me, Leader "The one that got away from me last time, I want him back". And with that, he walks out of the room and slams the door behind him, Adams mind "Liam? Why does he want Liam back?".
Leaders pov- Leaders mind "That little shit, why the fuck would he think I want that whinny bitch." I take my phone out of my pocket, it's 12, I've got an hour before I'm supposed to meet him, his mother wants to come here at 3, so I've got 2 hours with him, alright, that works for me.
Kayden's pov- "I'm coming with you" Liam "No you're not, you're staying here", Tod "Bro were coming with you" Liam "When the hell did you start listening to this conversation? I thought you were sleeping" Tod "It's kind of hard to sleep when both of you have been yelling back and forth for the past 2 hours" I look over at Tod who has bed hair and dark circles under his eyes, Kayden "I was going to say I don't care, but damn, you look like shit" Liam "Don't cruse" Kayden "Whatever I'm still going with you" Liam puts his shoes on and grabs his keys, Liam "No your not, I'm tired of fighting about this". Liam heads to the door and slams it on the way out. I am not letting him do this by himself, I take my phone out of my pocket and dial Elijah's number. On the phone: Elijah "Kayden wha-" Kayden "COME PICK US UP RIGHT NOW" Elijah "Why what's wrong? I'm at work" Tod snatches the phone from my hand, Tod "Liam's decided to go meet up with the person that held him in that place really long, to try and get information about Adam's location." Elijah "On my way". Elijah hangs up the phone and Tod tosses it back to me, Tod "Go get ready he's on his way". I don't even bother to argue with him. 5 minutes later I'm dressed in a gray hoodie and some black ripped jeans. I walk out of my room and Tod is standing there waiting for me, dressed in cargo pants and an oversized tee shirt. Tod "He'll be here in about 5 minutes, let's go stand outside". We walk outside, Kayden "How come you're helping? I thought you didn't like him because he beat you up" Tod "*Sigh* Honestly, I deserved that beating, I did what I did for money, and other things, and karma got me back for it. I'm thankful towards him, though he may hate me, I can understand why, I'm a disgusting person, but I'm trying to be better". I pat him on the back, Kayden "Good for you, though I still don't forgive" Tod "And I don't expect you to". A couple minutes later Elijah pulls up, we jump in his car, give him the address and start going. It's been about 20 minutes since Liam left, he should be there now, I really hope he's alright.
Liam's pov- I get to the plaza, and I walk over to where we're supposed to meet up, Liam's mind "This is such a bad idea", I shiver, "This time if he tries to capture me I'll be ready". Leader "Boo" I jump at the sound and I swing my hand to hit whatever made the sound, but someone catches my hand, and I know it's him, Leader "Trying to hit me now are we?~". Liam "Maybe I was, now let go" Leader "What if, I don't want to?", Liam "I said let go", Leader "*Sigh* Fine, you're really no fun". He lets go of my hand, and I look up at him, somehow I feel my heart ache, theres no way I've missed this bitch. Before I can even get through my thoughts, he leans in and whispers in my ear, Leader "I've missed you", I freeze as his breath hits my neck, he leans back, standing straight again, and smiles, Leader "*pfft* Cute, your face is red" Liam "NO IT'S NOT", I turn back around, Liam "let's go we need to talk." Leader "Yes sir, lead the way". I hear him walking behind me as we walk, I don't really know where I'm trying to lead him to honestly. We pass a small cafe and that's when he stops me, Leader "If you want to talk why don't we go in there, there's not a lot of people" Liam "Exactly my same thought! Let's go". We walk into a cafe and find a small table in the corner and sit down. Liam "Alright let's tal-'' Waiter "HI! What can I get you guys? Can I offer you any cake?" Liam "I don't like sweet things" Leader "Well I do, can you grab me a slice sweetheart? That would be lovely" Waiter "*Blushes* Of course, I'll be right back!". I roll my eyes, Liam "Was that necessary?" Leader "What?" Liam "Flirting with her!" Leader "Jealous?". Liam "Wha-, NO" Leader "Mhm, that's believable." A few minutes later the girl comes back with his cake, and I can tell he's flirting with her again, not that I care, it's not my problem, it goes on for a bit longer and as I watch them, her hand on the table, as he brushes her skin, that's when I snap, Liam "YO LADY, LEAVE, WE"RE BUSY" Waiter "Oh right, sorry". Leader *Laughs* Liam "What's so funny" Leader "How upset you are that I was flirting with her, Liam "That is not why I was mad" Leader "Oh yea?, then why are you upset?" Liam "Because we have more important things to talk about" Leader "Righttt". Liam "Mhm, so with that in mind, where is he" Leader "*Sigh* right down to it then hm?" Liam "Tell me" Leader "I can't do that, I have a job to do, meeting with you hear is already over the line". Liam "Then why did you meet with me" Leader "Because I want you back Liam". Hearing my name rolling off his tongue like that makes me shiver, Liam "Why? So I can be beat and tortured again? I don't think so, that's why I need to know where Adam is" Leader "That's not what I meant" Liam "It doesn't matter, tell me where he is". Leader "No". Liam "What do I have to do, to make you tell me where he is? He doesn't deserve this" Leader "I could care less what happens to him" Liam "You let me go" Leader "No I didn't", Liam "I'm sitting right in front of you, if you wanted to capture me, your could, I know that when they came for me, you could've done something to keep me there but you didn't, why can't you just let him go as well?" Leader "I have my reasons for that" Liam "Yea and what are they? Because from how I see it, you could help me get him out, your just choosing not to" Leader "I can't risk this anymore, I need the money" Liam "Then why did you let me go!". He push back his chair and stands up, he smalls a $20 on the table and grabs my arm, leading me out the cafe, Liam "Can you just answer my question like a normal person?!" Leader "I'm about to" Liam "What?" He leads me to the ally way next to the cafe, Liam "What are you doing?". He pushes me against the wall, my heart starts racing, Liam "Get off of me", he leans in to whisper in my ear, Leader "You wanted an answer as to why, and I'm giving you one" and he kisses me, I struggle to get away at first, but it feels so good, like this is what I've been missing. He has both my hands on the wall above my head, holding both of them in one of his hands. He breaks the kiss and it leaves me gasping for air. He lets go of my hands and drops his head on my shoulder, he hugs me, and says, "I could care less about him, but you, there's something about you, I couldn't stand you being there for another day".
