Chapter 72 - Plan #3

Kayden pov~ Moments have passed in an attempt to let myself calm down again and we're all sitting in the room talking about the plan on how we're going to save Adam. I can't really process what's going on though, I'm so blank minded from thinking if Adam's okay or not, if they fed him, if he slept, if they hurt him. If only I wasn't so stupid, if only I was braver, I could have helped him, I could have done something more to help him, but no instead I ran, again and again I always run, it's like I never learn.  Liam "KAYDEN" Kayden "H-huh?" Liam "I've been calling your name for the past five minutes now, you alright?" Kayden "Sorry, yea, just thinking" Father "Don't yell in my office" Liam "Sorry about that, Kayden get your head straight we have a plan to save Adam and I have no doubt in my mind that it won't work, alright?" Kayden "O-okay thank you, sorry" Liam "It's fine I know your worried but instead of sitting here and worrying about him so much listen to the plans so you can do something about it" Kayden "Right! Okay I will". After finishing the plan, we start to take action, Father calls Adam's Mother and we wait a couple seconds for her to answer. On call* Mother "Darling! You never call me, what's wrong!?" Adam's father puts mother on speaker, Father "Why is Adam not at work" Mother "Oh, I just had him doing some extra work for me today" Father "And why was I not notified about him doing this" Mother "Sorry darling sorry, I didn't mean to make you upset or worried, I just needed him to do a few things for me today, that's all". Adam's Father looks at us, and continues to speak, Father "When should I expect him to be back in my office, it's crucial that he's here to learn" Mother "I know I know, don't worry he'll be back to work by tomorrow" Father "He better" Mother "He will darling, I promise" Father "Fine then, I'm hanging up" Mother "Wait but you never call you should talk to m-" *hangs up phone* Father "*Sigh* *mumbles* Why was it I got married to that woman again?" Liam "Huh?" Father "Nothing, anyways, if she holds up her end, we may not need to go looking for him, but, if she doesn't bring him by tomorrow, we'll begin our search" Kayden "But what if-" Father "What if what, she's not going to kill him, he'll be fine" Kayden " But she'll hurt him, do you not care!?" Father "OF COURSE I CARE HE'S MY SON" Kayden "AND HE'S MY BOYFRIEND, I WANT HIM TO BE SAFE AND NOT HURT, HE MAY BE STRONG BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN I WANT HIM TO GET HURT" Father " I DON'T EITHER, THAT'S WHY I'M HELPING YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE" * I start to tear up* "THEN WHY CAN'T WE LOOK NOW" Liam places a hand on my shoulder trying to calm me but I keep yelling, "WE SHOULD GO NOW BEFORE HE GETS EVEN MORE HURT BY HER, *whispers* it's my fault he's even there" Father "*Sighs* I understand you want to find him, so do I, but we can't risk being reckless, we don't even know where he is right now, we can't go head first into this not even knowing what were going to do" Liam "He's right Kayden" Kayden "I know but *sighs* I know" Liam "Well then, what's the plan if she doesn't bring him tomorrow" Father "Then I'll buy her a phone" I look up shocked, Liam "Huh?" Father "Yes I will buy her a phone so I can track her, then hopefully wherever she goes we can try and follow her, one of those places are bound to be where she's keeping Adam" Liam "Ohhhhh I see I see, makes sense, but what if she decides not to bring that phone with her?" Father "No don't worry she'll bring it with her" Elijah "Uh sir, I can't help but ask, how are you so certain that she'll actually bring it with her?" Father "Becuase I never really buy anything for her, so when I do she obsesse over that item and brings it with her everywhere, she's to stupid to expect me to track her anyways". Tod *laughs* Father "What are you laughing at?" Tod "Ah, n-nothing, sorry". Liam "You really think this will work?", Kayden "It has to, we have no other choice" Father "I agree, don't worry, we will find him" Kayden "I hope so" Father "We will, anyways, for now, give me one of your numbers and go back to the house you were in, and come back when I call you tomorrow, if he's here I will notify you and we will discuss what to do with her, but if he's not, then we have work to do" Kayden "Thank you" Father "No reason to thank me, I'm not doing this just for you, I'm doing this because I care about my son" Kayden "I know, that;s why I said thank you" Father "hm alright, anyways get going, and be safe". Everyone says thank you and bye, Elijah drives us back to Liam's house, when we get there, I go and sit on the sofa and look out the window. Liam walks over to me and keels down to look at my face, Liam "We will find him Kayden" Kayden "I know we will, we have to". Don't worry Adam, we will save you, just hang on for a bit longer.
