Adams pov~ We're still driving to the cabin, I can't help but think about if he's ok. What I want to find out most is who put those bruises on him, when I find out who did it I will personally handle it. We get to the cabin and Elijah says, "So what do you plan on doing now?" Adam "Well, I don't need to go inside. I've already been inside, there's nothing there. I want to turn around and go to the nearest shopping place around here, I think if he did get away he'd go there instead of home" Elijah "You sure about this?" Adam "Not really, but I have to try something" Elijah "*sigh* Alright I'll take you there" . We drive for so long that I fall asleep and the next thing I know is that I'm being shanken back and forth ferociously. I wake up and Elijah says "Sorry to wake you so suddenly, but we're here" Adam "AH! Okay come on let's go" I hop out the car I don't really know where to start looking but I'm excited it's not even a guarantee that I'll find him but I really really hope that he's here like I think he is and that he's ok. Elijah "Where do you want to start looking?" Adam "Mmmm, I'm not really sure yet where do you think we should start this area is pretty big, there's stores, homes, hotels and a bunch of other things" Elijah "Well maybe we should try the stores first maybe if he is here he is buying something to eat and whatever" Adam "Ok, I don't know if he had money on him when he was taken but we should look anyways, alrighty then let's get a move on". We went into many different clothing stores, grocery stores, candy stores, shoe stores, and asked if they saw him. I gave them a description of how he looked and everyone of them said no". Adam "what if he didn't get away? What if my mother still has him somewhere?" Elijah "Don't think like that, and we didn't check everything yet so maybe he is here and we just haven't found him yet" Adam "I really hope so". Elijah "come on let's go check the food places next" Adam "Alright". We head over to a whole bunch of different food places and ask around if they saw Kayden and I'm about to give up hope when I ask the last one, the lady there says to me "Yes actually that boy did come by not too long ago" Adam "WHAT?! W-wait, did he have bruises on his face and was he a little bit smaller than me in height?". The lady said, "Yes, he came about 20-30 minutes ago why?" Adam "Thank you! Thank you so much I appreciate it!" The lady "You're not going to hurt him or anything are you? Is that why you're looking for him?" Adam "Wha- no no of course not, I can't go into full detail but we were walking around together and we got separated I'm just trying to find him again". The lady "If what you're saying is true, he said something about going to a hotel, but if you have bad motives, you really should leave that boy alone he looks like he's been threw a lot, and for his safety I'm not telling you the name or location of the hotel" Adam "I understand miss and I thank you for not giving away his location for his own safety, I'm just glad he's okay, well I gotta get going you have a nice night ma'am". The lady "Thank you, you too". We leave the food place and Elijah says "So he's here that's good that means he managed to get away" Adam "Yes, thank god for that, it's night time now though so hopefully it doesn't take too long to find him, the lady said he was going to a hotel, there are so many hotels in this area but hopefully we find him soon". We go hotel by hotel asking if a boy named Kayden has booked a stay everyone said no we only have three more hotels to go to I hope he's in one, he should be. We asked two more hotels and they said they haven't had anyone book a room by that name. We go to the last hotel and walk inside, Elijah "Don't worry I bet he's in this one" Adam "You said that for the last few hotels we went to" Elijah "Well this time I bet I'll be right" Adam "Let's hope so" we go to the front desk and I ask the guy standing there, Adam "Hey, I was wondering if a boy named Kayden came here and booked a room, he has dark brown hair, dark blue eyes and light colored skin, sadly right now he has a few bruises on his body" Guy "Sorry but were not permitted to giving out our customers information, so even if he were here I can't say, sorry" Adam "Look I understand that, but please, please tell me if he's here" Guy "I deeply apologize but I can't, have a good night sir". I continue to talk to the guy on the counter and I feel a tap on my shoulder, and Elijah says "Hey look" Adam "Give me a second let me continue my conversation" I continue talking and then Elijah just turns me around, Adam "What!?" I look in the direction he faced me, and I see him. Elijah "That's him right" Adam "Y-yea it is". He's walking down the stairs and when he looks up, and we make eye contact and he freezes.
Kaydens pov: We finally made it to the area, we've been walking for hours and with this slow ass with me it took longer than needed. Kayden "Finalllyyy" Tod "So now what are you going to do now that we're here?" Kayden "Mmmmm, well I'm hungry so lets go get some food then we will find a hotel to stay at" Tod "Okay sounds good to me". We both start walking around the area we're in we look stare a whole bunch of food that we see but it doesn't look that good so we keep going about an hour later we get to this one lady's food place and she has the most delicious looking food that I've seen all day. Kayden "We should eat here" Tod "Ok I'm good with anything" Kayden "ok great". We go inside and there's a lady standing at a counter that has a whole bunch of food on it, lady "hello how may I help you gentlemen" Kayden "Ah hello, just came to buy some of your food, what would you recommend?". Lady "well-" she looked at us both for a while looking up and down and came up to use and said, "oh dear, what happened to you both, your both ruffed up quite a bit" Kayden "ah, nothing to worry about we're alright just a few bruises and scrapes" lady "*sigh* youth these days, well I don't know what you two boys went through, but since your both such in a bad state I'll give you food for free" Kayden "Ah thank you but you really don't have to" lady "Nonsense I'll bring you food out in a second just sit here". She leaves the room and both of us sit down, Tod "well at least you can save money, and that lady is very kind" Kayden "yes I agree she is we got lucky coming here I guess". The lady comes back with two plates of food and some water, we eat, thank her again and leave. Tod "so now what're we doing?" Kayden "let's go look for a hotel, I want to take a nap I'm tired from all the dang walking I had to do, some of this is your fault" Tod "Yes I know, sorry again" Kayden "Yea yea, just hurry up so we can find a hotel and I can sleep". We go to a few hotels and they're all so expensive when I ask how much one room is, we go to a few different ones and finally find one that's cheap enough. Guy "Your room number is
201, here's your room key have a nice stay" Kayden "Thank you". We go up stairs and into the room, thankfully the room has two beds, Kayden "Thank god they have two beds, because I was not sharing if they didn't have two you'd sleep on the floor" Tod "Excerpted nothing less". I run over to the bed and jump on it. Kayden "Finally, my feat are so sore, ah also I think all hotels have a first aid in the bathroom maybe you should go look for one in the bathroom" Tod "For what?" Kayden "For your leg duhh" Tod "Oh right, honestly I forgot about that" Kayden "Well you don't want any infections do you? go look for the first aid and bring it to me" Tod "Why I can do it myself" Kayden "I did it, so I'm partially responsible so I'll do it" Tod "Uh okay". He goes into the bathroom and he's in there for a couple minutes and then he comes out with a bandage. Kayden "What took you so long?" Tod "Ah, I was just disinfecting it because I didn't want any infections like you said." Kayden "Ah ok makes sense, anyways get over here so I can bandage it for you". He walks over to me and hands me the bandages I start wrapping his leg and just start to think all of what's happened it's just so crazy I was kidnapped by this idiot beaten by him too and now here I am wrapping his leg for him, how ironic is that. I finished wrapping the bandages and say, "well there you go I'm done how is it" I look up at his face and his face is all red, Tod "Uh, good thanks". Kayden "Mhm, anyways I'm going to take a nap stay on your side of the room and don't leave because I swear I will find you if you do" Tod "Ah okay, I won't leave" he goes over to the other side of the room and sits on the other bed that's there, I turn over and close my eyes and fall asleep within seconds. Tods mind " I find it unbelievable that it ended up like this, I got paid to kidnap this kid and to be honest he doesn't even seem like a he acts so grown, after I got him I took him to the cabin he was there for like a few days he tricked me and honestly I'm glad it was a trick, and then I turned into the hostage instead, he stabbed me and now were here. He acts tough, and he is,but he's also a very nice person. I can't help but like him a little bit, but in these circumstances he's already in a relationship and I'm probably way older than him so it doesn't matter. Either way, maybe in a different lifetime we'd actually end up together". About 30 minutes later I wake up, I look over to Tods side and see that he's sleeping I get up out of the bed and stretch I'm still tried but not as much as before, I decided to go take a walk I put my shoes on and go to leave and then I quickly turn back around and find a peice of paper and pen to write, and I write on the paper saying "I'm going on a walk, I'll be back, don't leave, remember I said I'll find you if you did". At that I leave the room and start walking to the stair, when I make it there I start walking down and I hear someone talking really loudly, I don't look up at first but when I start getting closer I hear a voice and it sounds so familiar so I look up and I stop dead in my tracks. I think, no it can't be him, no way how would he be here, and when he turns to look at me, I feel tears filling up my eyes because it is him, he's actually here. But who is that next to him?
