Chapter 41 - support~

Dad "What did you just say, haha your joking right, your right you did get brain damage". Kayden "No, dad, me and him started dating before that happened to me". Dad: "Did you two know about this!?". I look at Adam and his face is paler than it was a few minutes ago, I feel a stab at my chest seeing him like that, I didn't mean to hurt him, I just thought my dad would be a little more expecting. Liam "Y-yea I did" I look at Liam with shock and then back at my dad, Dad "And you're okay with your friend being with a guy, it's unnatural". I look down and my sister is tugging at my shirt and she says "Is he nice?" I bend down and I tell her "Yes, yes he is", she replies with "O-ok". I look at Adam who has the slightest blush on his face, I guess he heard me. Kayden "Dad, come let's talk over here" I walk to the other side of the park and sit down on a bench, my dad stands in front of me instead of sitting next to me. Kayden "I know, that it's unnatural for a guy to like another guy, and when I woke up I didn't believe me and him were really dating because it didn't sound right but the more I started to remember and the more I hung out with him, I understood, I understood why I liked him." I look up and my dad, Kayden "I understood why I loved him, and I told you just now because I thought you would support me". Dad *sighs* "Son" he crouches down and looks at me saying "I do support you, it's just I was caught off guard it's not everyday your only son tells you he's gay, but I do see that he means a lot to you so it will take me some time, but I do support you okay" I look up at him with tears in my eyes and a big smile plastered on my face "Thank you". Dad "So am I going to meet him or what?", I choke out a nervous laugh and say "Ha, *ahem*, well, you kinda already did", Dad "YOUR DATING LIAM?!?!" I laugh and say "Haha, no no, I'm Dating, Adam". Dad "Ah the black harried one, damn you have high standards huh" We both laugh. I look over to Adam and he's holding my sister in his arms and I can't help but melt by the sight of that. Dad "Adam!!" I look at my dad and he motioned with his hands for Adam to come over here, Adam looks up and he goes plae again, he passes my sister to Liam and walks over to us. Adam "Y-yes sir". My dad walks closer to him and pats him on the back saying, "So your the one who is dating my son huh" Adam quickly looks at me and both of us are blushing, he gives me a look that says "You told him!" I nod. Adam "Yes, me and Kayden are dating". Dad "You better be taking good care of my son, I will not tolerate anything but kindness and love for my son do you understand!" Adam's eyes widen in shock "Of course, but you're, you're okay with me dating your son?" Dad "I admit I was a bit shocked at first but my son dresevers my support and I realized that it doesn't matter who he likes he is still my son and that doesn't change anything" Kayden "Thank you". Dad "Now let's stop moping around and have some fun!" Liam "Yeah!". I walk over to Adam and take hold of his hand. He looks at me and says "It's great that your dad was so supportive of you". I look at my dad and say "Yeah". Adam's mind "I just wish my dad was like that too".
