Chapter 25 - Witch at the doorstep~

Kayden and Adam continue to kiss passionately, Kayden's hand is on Adam's chest and Adam's hand is slowly sliding up into Kayden's shirt and things are starting to get heated. Then out of nowhere they hear a LOUD knock on the door, Kayden and Adam stop, look at the door then look back at each other shyly. Adam gets up and walks to the door and opens it. Adam sees his mom with an angry look on her face in the doorway. She steps in and sees Kayden blushing; she looks back at Adam and asks "who's that". Adam "o-oh he's my friend we were doing homework together...." Kayden picks up his stuff and says "uh looks like your busy I'll go see you at school bye" and goes home. Adam is left alone with his mother and starts to talk about the whole family business, Adam's mother " You do have a responsibility to take over the business and to be like your brother, you shouldn't be hanging out with your friends your brother would have taken this seriously." Adam rolls his eyes at the thought of how she interrupted the kiss for this stupid talk. Mother " Don't roll your eyes at me young man you better be respectful just like your brother would have been!". Mother "It should have been you in the accident instead of your brother life would have been so much better, it was so hard for me and your father when we lost your brother." Adam "IT AFFECTED ME TO HE WAS MY BROTHER MY ONLY BROTHER!". Mother, slaps Adam, Mother "Don't yell at me boy I don't care how you feel and I never will, you are just a toy for the business." Adam stares at his mother with tears start to flow out of Adam's eyes, and he was angry that he had to call his mother, mother when she has never been a mother to him, it's always been his brother taking care of him before he died then after that he had to fend for himself in order to stay alive. But he was more mad at the fact that he was pushed to the side and never loved by his own parents and is now just being used for the business. Mother "When this year is over YOU WILL take the business, I'll be checking on you every month to make sure you're not slacking off". His mother leaves without another word and Adam stands there petrified. He looks down thinking about all the stuff his mother said and starts to cry. He gets a text from Kayden, thY says "hey is everything alright, when I was leaving you seemed a bit worried?" Adam answers back saying "yeah, everything's great :)". Adam starts to shake he drops his phone and slides down the wall and cries some more. Kayden texts "Ok I hope everything's good, well goodnight I'll see you at school".
