After exiting the bar, Lucifer followed the arrogant kid to another building all the while surrounded by guards. The kid burst into the office where a man around the age of 40 sat talking to someone on the side.
The man looked up with a disgruntled look but when he saw it was his very own son, his face softened. Standing up, he said, "Terry, what are you doing here? Is there something you need?"
The kid's name was Terrance Livingston II, he went by Terry instead to differentiate himself from his father. Terry sat down heavily on the couch nearby, disregarding the guest in the room. "Father, there's an irritating man outside who says he knows you. He even fought me for a table at the bar."
"Who would…" Terrance trailed off as he looked towards the door and saw Lucifer standing there.
"Good to see you old friend, I'm surprised to see you in City C," Lucifer said with his usual smile, not at all minding the guards that surrounded him.
"Randy," he exclaimed as he took large strides towards the entrance to give Lucifer a big hug and wave the guards off, "What are you doing here? I thought you would be safe in City M right now!"
Returning his hug, Lucifer walked towards the nearest seat and sat down as well "It's a long story, but I was in City A when the virus broke out. By the way, I go by Lucifer now."
"Father, you know this man?!" Terry hopped up his relaxed position on the couch.
Glaring at him, Terrance sternly reprimanded him, "Don't be disrespectful to your uncle, he's saved your father's life before. Say hi to him."
Terry was taken aback, he was rarely reprimanded by his father. Taking on a slightly more polite tone, "Hi Uncle." He reluctantly greeted Lucifer before quickly sitting back down on the couch.
Lucifer nodded slightly, not at all minding Terry's personality. It was just the typical antics of an entitled rich kid, nothing he hadn't encountered before on his various missions.
"How long are you here for?" asked Terrance.
"Not long, only for a night, then my group and I will be leaving."
"So soon! Where are you staying? Is there anything you need? At least stay for dinner."
"Ok, but I will need to inform my teammates about this." Lucifer nodded in agreement.
"That's no problem at all. I will get my second in command to inform them." Gesturing with his hand, a person came up. Terrance instructed them to get someone to send a note to Aida and the others, while also escorting the guest in the room out.
Pulling out some fine whiskey, they began to sit and catch up, entirely losing track of time. Terry quietly snuck out as they were engrossed in conversation.

Back at the apartment, Aida gestured for Xiao Ai and the twins to help Rose back into the room. She didn't know if the people at the door were hostile or not.
Aida and Light walked over to the door. She hid behind the wall, ready to fight, while Light opened the door. Outside, there were 3 men dressed in suits, the man in front had a business-like smile on his face as he said, "Hello, are you Lucifer's friend?"
Light responded with a similar business smile, "Yes. May I ask what you are looking for and where he is?"
Smiling apologetically, the man said, "I apologize for the delay in communication. My name is Rufus, and I am the second in command at the base. I was sent here by the base leader to inform you that Lucifer is currently having dinner with him. I should have informed you all a few hours ago but we had an incident that I had to attend to so couldn't arrive to inform you till now. I hope you can understand."
The incident he referred to was likely the outages that Aida and Xiao Ai had caused earlier in the day.
Light responded, "No problem at all. Thank you for coming all this way to inform us. Do you know when Lucifer will be back?"
"That.." he hesitated, "I am not too sure. I would assume some time this evening."
With a few more polite words, the three men in business suits left. Light calmly closed the door.
Aida asked, "What do you think?"
He responded, "There is a possibility that something went wrong, but they could also be telling the truth. If they truly wanted to do something to us, they wouldn't feel the need to be this cautious nor would they both come to us personally to inform us. The odds of Lucifer actually knowing the base leader is high."
Aida nodded, this was the same conclusion she reached. Nevertheless, something felt slightly off and she would feel more comfortable after seeing the situation with her own eyes. After some discussion, they decided that it was better if they stayed in the RV than in this apartment. It would also be easier to sneak Rose out with darkness as their cover.
Packing everything, they exited the apartment. Aida kept her scan on and discovered that the two of the three men who had knocked on the door were still around, observing the apartment. It seems there was something suspicious going on after all.
Using the backdoor, they snuck out without being seen by the men in suits. As they exited the base, a few kind-hearted guards at the gate attempted to stop them, reminding them that there was a curfew and that they wouldn't be allowed back in if they left now. Light simply smiled and thanked them for their kindness before proceeding to leave.
Reaching the RV, Aida removed the electricity and allowed everyone on. Rose who drank some of Aida's blood finally fell asleep from exhaustion. Aida brought her up to her room to continue sleeping. After informing Light and Ace to stay on comms, she took Xiao Ai with her and exited the RV.
