At Hokage's office,
Sarutobi once again felt his headache because of the two naughty kids in front of him. He knew that it was the behavior of the people that caused them to behave this way, but he could not disclose their true identities (i.e children of the fourth Hokage) as it would bring them great danger.
Scarlet put a dissatisfied face and folded her arms she was upset about being kidnapped into the Hokage's office. Naruto was chuckling while scratching his hair and thinking on how to justify himself to the Hokage.
Sarutobi looked at the two children and thought 'If they had been older I could have just sent them to the academy, hmm got to think something else'. Just as Sarutobi was thinking in deep thought he heard a voice, "Hokage sama, why don't you let me take care of them". Sarutobi raised his head and looked at the Anbu standing in front of him.
'Vulture' was one of the few people who did not have hatred towards Naruto and Scarlet. In the past, many Anbu did not take care of Naruto and Scarlet well. Because of this Sarutobi did not even know whom to entrust them to and eventually gave them a house to stay and covered their daily expenses. Since 'Vulture' said that she would take care of them Sarutobi started considering it.
Sarutobi made some hand signs, Naruto and Scarlet who were in front of him slowly fell sleepy, their eyelids were getting heavier and finally, they fell asleep. Sarutobi then looked at 'Vulture' and said: "'Vulture' because of their status as jinjuriki they will always be in danger and you also need to make sure that they are under your surveillance. They have managed to escape many times under everyone's nose. Even chunin are finding it difficult to keep track of them".
'Vulture' looked at Sarutobi and replied respectfully "Hokage sama, I am confident that I can take care of them and besides that, I am also very interested in this girl.". On hearing her reply Sarutobi asked, "What did you find interesting in a girl who did not even start training.". 'Vulture' replied, "Hokage sama, I am an archer but no one is using archery anymore. But yesterday I saw that this girl without any training had natural talent for aiming, yesterday she hit the target very well and today she was able to aim well and steal a purse with a fishing rod in a single attempt. Her vision, concentration, and distance awareness are very good due to which I want to train her.".
Sarutobi thought for a while and finally nodded. 'Vulture' smiled under the mask. She then took them both back to their home and was their guardian from today. 'Vulture' looked at the two kids sleeping peacefully on the bed and thought 'Hmm there are just kids, it should not be that difficult to take care of them'.
Suddenly Naruto and Scarlet woke up, seeing them 'Vulture' thought 'Hmm they woke up fast, I guess this because they are jinjuriki.'. Scarlet who just woke up saw her and shouted "Hey you! What are you doing at home? wait Why are we at home? weren't we supposed to be at the Hokage's office?".
'Vulture' replied "You ask too many questions let me answer one by one. From today I'm your guardian. You got tired so both of you fell asleep.". Scarlet replied "Hmm something is fishy here. How can we suddenly fall asleep like that? "Scarlet then looked towards 'Vulture' with doubt but was not able to know anything as she was wearing a mask.
Reluctantly she replied, "Fine I will believe you for now".
