Scarlet made breakfast for herself and then changed to the Anbu costume. She then swiftly went to the Anbu quarters for her morning shift. Ro and Soku also arrived at the Anbu quarters. They greeted each other and waited for Tenzo.
After some time Tenzo came in front of them. Tenzo said "Very well, this is going to be the first mission for Red Witch and Soku in Anbu, so best of luck"
Scarlet looked at Soku and thought 'So she is a newcomer too'
Feeling Scarlet's gaze, Soku said "I just graduated and was directly absorbed into the Anbu"
Scarlet nodded.
Tenzo continued "This is a B-rank mission. One of the spies of Orochimaru in Konoha stole some confidential information during the chunin exams. We finally found his location, now our mission is to eliminate him and retrieve the information. I will tell the remaining information on the way. Let's go"
Soon all of them went outside Konoha. Tenzo then showed them a portrait. On the portrait was a brown-haired man with black eyes, he was average looking and had a mole on his cheek. After showing the portrait Tenzo said "His name is Hirasawa Sento. He used to be one of the chunin of Konoha who worked under Orochimaru. After Orochimaru betrayed the village he stayed in the village and accomplished the tasks of Orochimaru."
Tenzo continued "Now we need to retrieve the information and kill him. According to our sources, he is hiding in Kagero village with some of Orochimaru's helpers. Now let's move."
Scarlet and others quickly went towards the Kagero village, they took some rest in the forest at night and then resumed their journey. The Anbu members were conquered by the hunting and cooking skills of Scarlet. Soku even became a fangirl of Scarlet.
The next morning they reached the outskirts of the Kagero village. Tenzo asked them to stop, Tenzo made a 'Wood clone' and sent it towards the village while it's chakra was merged with the tree providing stealth. Soon Tenzo received the news from his clone that most of the houses in the village were burnt. Only three houses were undamaged and Hirasawa Sento is suspected to be in be one of these houses along with Orochimaru's subordinates.
Tenzo then signalled them to move forward. All of them swiftly moved towards the village. Soon they saw many houses which were burnt and were formed like ruins. They started moving towards the three undamaged houses. Scarlet used her space power and sensed that there were people in the big house farthest from them.
Scarlet rushed towards the house without making any noise and covered her chakra using her space power. She then took out two kunai from the ninja tool kit. She used her space power to observe the locations of people. She discovered that one man was sleeping in the bedroom, one was in the kitchen and two were guarding outside the kitchen.
Scarlet was in front of the house, Soku and Tenzo arrived beside Scarlet while Ro was guarding outside to ensure that no one can escape outside. From the security arrangements, Scarlet derived that the target was most likely in the bedroom.
Scarlet swiftly moved towards the bedroom, Soku and Tenzo followed her. Scarlet then punched the guard at the right on his heart, before he could recover Scarlet blocked his mouth and slit his throat. The guard on the left was about to attack Scarlet when suddenly two needles penetrated his throat.
The guard struggled as he held his throat before he finally fell down. Scarlet, Soku and Tenzo arrived outside the door. Tenzo opened the door to the bedroom and Scarlet and Soku then barged in. Tenzo saw the sleeping figure and confirmed that he was the target. Tenzo used 'Wood Style: Binding jutsu' and tied him up using wood.
Hirasawa Sento said "Who the hell are you… wait a minute...that... that mask… you are from Anbu. I didn't expect that you would be able to find so quickly"
Tenzo ignored his chattering and punched him and asked: "Where is the confidential information you stole from Konoha?"
Sento laughed at Tenzo and refused to give answers to him. Tenzo then started to make wood around him tighter until blood flowed from his skin. Tenzo once again asked, "Where is the confidential information?"
Sento still refused to answer as he said "I am only loyal to Orochimaru sama"
Tenzo then made a lot of spikes appear on the wood, the spikes penetrated his skin as a lot of blood flowed from him. Tenzo once again asked the question "Where is the confidential information?"
Sento said "I know how cruel you Anbu guys are since I am going to die I will die by making your mission failure" Sento then bit his tongue and died.
Left with no choice Tenzo asked them to search the house. Tenzo started to search in the bedroom, Soku and Scarlet went out. Scarlet went towards the kitchen while Soku searched in the other places. Scarlet went into the kitchen to see a figure stuffing his mouth with dango.
He looked towards Scarlet, Scarlet swiftly cut his throat. Poor guy must have never imagined that he would die with dango stuffed in his mouth. Scarlet then used her space power to sense the objects in the kitchen. She checked the objects one by one but could not find it in the end.
Scarlet went out, she saw that Tenzo and Soku had arrived too. Both of them also could not find it. Scarlet used to her power of space once again trying to find its location. This time she managed to find it under the doormat.
Scarlet quickly went towards the entrance and lifted the doormat to see a paper recorded with the confidential information. Tenzo took the paper and nodded that it was the required information. Tenzo said that he had already dealt with the body of Sento so they can leave now.
Scarlet and others started to travel back towards Konoha. On the way to Konoha Scarlet discussed applying poison to the needle with Soku. Soon both of them grew closer. They then arrived at Konoha and went to their homes while Tenzo went to submit the mission.
