L.Y. 651 Muro 26 6:19 S.Q. - Abandoned Facility, Inside the Carnival
Meanwhile in the facility to the right, as the team heads to the middle facility:
"It was easier than I thought to get your friends out of our hair."
[Semar, as he inspects Naraku hair]
"Doing his best to move it out the way, Naraku is filled with disgust."
"What do you want with me? Are you really trying to eat me? You're sick for that! Have you been doing that this whole time!?"
[Naraku]
"Why yes, I grew up with a passion. To Cook the creatures of this world. No place have I ever felt at peace but this Carnival."
[Semar, smiling]
"How disgusting!"
[Naraku, with anger]
"Disgusting is just for those who do not understand the deliciousness that comes from us as creatures. I have tried almost every specimen from Nightwalker to Human, but I have yet to be able to try a Naga. Being one myself it has always felt taboo. But with hard times coming to the carnival, why not try now before I must leave the best home I have ever had."
[Semar, As he approaches Naraku]
"YOU DISGUST ME even more then!!!"
[Naraku, spitting at Semar's face]
Wiping it Semar continues. Inserting his dagger into the arm of Naraku. With a scream he peels off a layer of skin, scale included, and consumes it.
"Raw..It's not bad, but definitely missing flavor."
[Semar, pacing the floor in front of Naraku thinking]
"If I want to try it, then I'll have to cook it. I'll have to let you down."
[Semar]
"If you let me go I PROMISE, I will kill you!"
[Naraku, furious]
"Then so be it. As we must fight it out anyway, let us commence."
[Semar]
Putting Naraku's Bow at the other end of the room, Semar returns to the front of him. Releasing him from his restraints.
"So there is your weapon, I will give you enough courtesy to battle you while alive. BUT I cannot wait until I get to try that delicious skin of yours one more time."
[Semar, Chuckling loudly as Naraku begins to walk]
Covering his bleeding arm Naraku reaches his bow, picks it up and begins to prepare for battle.
Returning to the team outside of the middle facility:
Arriving at the doors of the middle facility the team sees a light flickering in one of the windows. Hoping this could be a sign of someone inside they rush over and begin to tug on the door. They start to knock as the door doesn't budge even an inch.
"What's going on up there? Can't they hear us?"
[Obitiga]
"What if it's just an empty room?"
[Crystal]
"That could be true."
[Twilight]
"What about that then?"
[Obitiga, pointing at a shadowy silhouette in the window]
"What?"
[Twilight, looking up to see nothing]
"There was just a silhouette a few moments ago?"
[Obitiga, confused]
"Should we keep moving or keep trying then?"
[Crystal]
"We've got to find our way in to stop the Ringleader, if this door is closed it's probably best then that we move on."
[Twilight]
Letting go of the handle and beginning to make way towards the next facility the team is watched by peering eyes outside the window above.
"So it does seem like he is him after all."
[Ringleader, over a Lightsponder]
"I guess he chased me down from the entrance."
[Ringleader]
"What about Empat? Like I said last I saw her was on Thidimon, if she hasn't shown herself yet I'm guessing her essence is on the way back to you."
[Stranger 2, over Lightsponder]
"Tsk, that's disappointing to hear."
[Stranger 1, over Lightsponder]
"Should we send you any help from here?"
[Stranger 2]
"No, I think I can handle him with no worries, plus there's only two other people with him."
[Ringleader]
"Be safe either way, I can't afford to lose you next too. It will take me time to create another."
[Stranger 1]
"Yes, Mam!"
[Ringleader, as the Lightsponder clicks]
"Don't take her words too much to heart. Lima, Empat, and you are the newest three but are more important to her than she lets on."
[Stranger 2]
"How is it going out there anyway?"
[Ringleader]
"It's going okay the Merchants haven't fallen just yet but it shouldn't be too long before we've fully infiltrated."
[Stranger 2]
"Okay, once I'm done here I'll head over to the Nation and help."
[Ringleader]
"Take your time, Twilight is a valuable asset. We'd rather make sure to capture him correctly than to mess this up."
[Stranger 2]
"Yeah, for Suta sake.."
[Ringleader, hanging up the Lightsponder]
The team arrives at the other facility, trying this door now too. It easily opens allowing them to enter into a dimmed and cold room. A snarling sound is heard as the door closes behind them and the lights flicker on. One by one from the shadow a group of Leos appear. Staring the team down they begin to approach and incircle them.
"How do we keep ending up in these types of situations?"
[Obitiga]
[Snarling continues as the Leos complete their circle around the team]
"Like do we just have a smell for bad situations or something?"
[Obitiga]
"We can worry about it later!"
[Twilight]
"It looks like there's only six of them."
[Crystal]
"Good, I guess it's going to be 2 on 1 then at least."
[Obitiga]
Drawing out each of their weapons the team begins to fend off the attacks of the Leos. With them lunging their way at them, snapping their teeth, clenching down on their weapons as they use them to defend themselves. Obitiga and Twilight begin to separate the Leos they were in the midst of battle with. Though Crystal took her time. As a Rider she was too worried about fighting them. Knowing their rarity and classification she didn't want to kill them, let alone hurt them. Being pinned down by one of the Leos and nipped at by the other she notices a wound on it. Not a light one but one more severe than most. It looked to be made from a whip or something similar to. Knocking the Leos on top of her away, she calls out to both Obitiga and Twilight.
"Try not to hurt them!"
[Crystal]
"What do you mean, they're trying to kill us."
[Obitiga, confused]
"They've been abused, I don't think they want to fight honestly. They're probably just trying to defend something."
[Crystal]
"Well look who's the expert at animal instinct."
[Strange Voice]
