With the crowd following the Official in you could see just how detailed the Magician's House was. According to Crystal it reminded her of the homes back home. They were crystalized with a luminous glow to them. Since the Citadel was one of Light it made sense. As for the Magician's House we couldn't tell if it was just the paint or if something had been added to it to give it the shine it had. It even looked as if it was moving at times.
Entering through the front door, or should I say doors, as they opened adjacently into what no longer seemed to be a home. The look was that of an arena style with enough seats to fit not just our group but several more. As we all began to make our way to somewhere comfortable, these three figures, that we could only assume were the Magicians, appeared in the center of the arena.
"Welcome All!"
[Magician 1]
"To our house of Amazement."
[Magician 3]
"We the Phafru Triplets welcome you."
[Magician 2]
"I am Taru."
[Taru]
"I am Weiso."
[Weiso]
"And I am Jiga."
[Jiga, Sending out a blast of light]
Thinking it would cause destruction to the building most of the onlookers, including us, began to scream. To our amazement the blast split itself. Turning into a snowy rain that descended amongst us.
"Well it seems like this is going to be fun."
[Carnival Attendant 3]
"Let's be a little wary. I overheard some people on the way here. It seems that the Crystal Maze was shut down."
[Carnival Attendant 1]
"Why?"
[Carnival Attendant 4]
"Not sure if it is true but apparently people went missing."
[Carnival Attendant 1]
"Missing?!"
[Carnival Attendant 2]
"Yeah, it's not the first time either."
[Carnival Attendant 1]
"No way that can be truthful, they probably just got lost in the maze and haven't found their way out."
[Carnival Attendant 3]
"Yeah, what idiots. How do you get lost in such a simple maze?"
[Carnival Attendant 4]
"I'm not sure."
[Carnival Attendant 1]
"I don't think we should worry though, this seems like a childs show if you ask me."
[Carnival Attendant 2]
"Brothers, are you ready?"
[Weiso]
"Yes!"
[Jiga & Taru]
"Our first act for everyone will be our usual."
[Weiso]
"Oh you mean the one that requires our favorite stick."
[Jiga]
"Stick?"
[Carnival Attendant 7]
One of the Zera begins to pull out a stick, though it seemed to not stop extending as he walked his way across the floor.
"Brother, are you sure this is the same stick from before, it doesn't seem to end?"
[Weiso, still pulling on his way to the end of the arena]
"I didn't even know it was that long."
[Jiga, looking into the vortex the stick seemed to be coming out of]
"Hmm, what is this?"
[Taru, pulling out a Uki]
A Uki is a small bird-like animal, they aren't known by much as their wings are too small to allow them to migrate for a long distance.
"How'd my lunch get in there?"
[Jiga, laughing as he tries to grab the Uki]
Unable to grab the Uki, it flies off into the crowd. With a few people trying to grab it it makes its way to the door. Expecting an impact the attendants at the back braced themselves. Instead it seems to seemingly disappear into the door itself. Not sure what happened, the crowd gasps.
"Well it looks like I won't be eating lunch today."
[Jiga, still removing the stick]
"Can you forget about your lunch and help me out here instead my brothers."
[Weiso]
"Oh sorry, pushing the vortex back, they reveal just one more inch of the stick."
[Taru]
"How'd he do that?"
[Carnival Attendant 5]
"I'm not sure how, I've never seen a vortex moving, at least not that kind. It's new to me."
[Carnival Attendant 3]
"I wonder what kind of Mages they are."
[Carnival Attendant 7]
"They must be void mages, they're the only ones I know that can create a vortex to begin with."
[Carnival Attendant 1]
"Thank you, that took a long time. Don't you say everyone!"
[Weiso]
"Yes!"
[Crowd]
"You do remember what happened last time we did an act with this stick."
[Jiga]
"Don't remind me, I still haven't gotten the image out of my head."
[Taru]
"Can we get a volunteer!"
[Weiso]
The crowd begins to raise their hands. With the youngest of them cuing and hollaring for attention.
"Right here!"
[Young Teenager]
"Why not, come join us down here."
[Taru]
The young teenager begins to make her way down the stairs into the arena.
"What is your name, young lady?"
[Jiga]
"Cherish."
[Cherish]
"Brothers, we must keep this one safe."
[Taru]
"Yes we must, It is in her name, is it not."
[Jiga]
"Here hold this end of the stick for me."
[Taru]
"Okay."
[Cherish]
The triplets make their way to the other end of the stick. Lining up one after the other and each grabbing a few inches from the last one spot they begin to push.
"WOAH!"
[Cherish]
The girl begins to scream as she is lifted up into the air.
"Cherish! My daughter, what are you doing to her?"
[Cherish's Father, in shock]
"Don't worry nothing will happen to her."
[Taru]
"Sir do not worry! We won't let anything bad happen to her!"
[Weiso]
"Can you bring me down instead?!"
[Cherish, scared for her life]
"Just one moment, I need to adjust my grip."
[Weiso]
Adjusting his grip, Jiga begins to slip. With his fall to the ground the other two brothers lose their balance. Dropping the stick and Cherish as well. The father within the stand begins to scream for help. As his daughter plummets to the ground a blast is sent out by Weiso. Turning her into a Chire she slams into the ground.
"What have you done?!"
[Cherish's Father]
"Don't worry, I just turned her into my lunch. Would you like some?"
[Jiga, offering the dead Chire to Cherish's Father]
"LUNCH! You've killed my daughter!"
[Cherish's Father, furious]
