"Don't get lost in there either."
[Obitiga]
"We'll be back when we get the rest of these people out."
[Naraku]
Heading back on the same path the team entered in Crystal begins to search for Twilight. With her spell guiding the way she began to get an eerie feeling around her. As if she was being watched by someone.
Meanwhile at the outside entrance Naraku and Obitiga were gathering information from the attendees who made it out with them.
"Did you see what happened to the rest of our group?"
[Obitiga, holding the shoulder of an attendant]
"No. But I'm pretty sure they're just behind right?"
[Carnival Attendant 2]
"See I told you the rumors were true."
[Carnival Attendant 1, bumping his shoulder into Carnival Attendant 3 arm]
"Dude shut up, you know those are fake."
[Carnival Attendant 3, walking towards Naraku]
"Mom!"
[Small Child, crying]
With everyone stopping in the midst of the young child's plea for his mother the group began to fall warry.
"Maybe it is true?"
[Carnival Attendant 15]
"Why is that kid crying?"
[Carnival Attendant 10]
"Isn't that one lady at the end of the group's kid?"
[Carnival Attendant 1]
"Where is she?"
[Carnival Attendant 3]
"Hey Kid, is everything okay?"
[Naraku]
"My mom, they took her."
[Small Child]
"Took"
[Obitiga]
"Inside the Carnival these clowns popped out and grabbed her. Not just her but a bunch of other people."
[Small Child]
"So it is actually truthful."
[Carnival Attendant 3]
"The rumors weren't a lie!"
[Carnival Attendant 7]
"I told you, we have to go get the Officials."
[Carnival Attendant 2]
The Carnival attendant's begin to race towards the front.
"Was there a person there with daggers strapped to his back?"
[Obitiga]
"Yes."
[Small Child]
"We have to go back."
[Naraku]
"What about everyone else here?"
[Obitiga]
"Are you all just going to leave us?"
[Carnival Attendant 10]
"No, we are going to head back inside and see if we can find anyone."
[Naraku]
"Why not wait till he gets back with the Officials?"
[Carnival Attendant 3]
"Well we're going inside."
[Naraku]
"If any of you would like to join us please follow."
[Obitiga]
Heading back inside with just two other people. Naraku and Obitigia begin to make their way towards the Corrupt Crystal.
"What are y' all's names?"
[Obitiga]
"My name is Isha."
[Isha]
"Mine is Miike."
[Miike]
"What do either of you know about combat?"
[Naraku]
"Before my family I was a Crusader."
[Isha]
"I was a Dragon Lord."
[Miike]
" Well then here you go. I happen to have a small weapon on me. Do you think it will work?"
[Naraku]
"For you Miike, can you fight without gloves?"
[Obitiga]
"I have some bandages, I keep them on me as a precaution."
[Naraku]
"Let's go then."
[Miike]
Crystal begins moving through the rest of Maze, slightly feeling the presence of someone else she becomes warier. Then suddenly a figure appeared in one of the crystals. It seemed to be of a battered person, watching as an unknown figure begins to drag the body to the side she rushes in to try and save them. Losing sight of them amongst the other Crystals she continues searching.
"I wonder who that was, and I hope Twilight is okay."
[Crystal]
Throwing out another spell to help light her way in case of anyone else appearing. She begins searching again, worried about the lost Twilight. Until eventually stumbling on another battered looking figure. Not wanting something to happen to this one she rushes in. As she approaches she begins to recognize the figure. It seemed it was Twilight, injured and hurt. With no other person in sight she takes a step into the room, suddenly there's a swing of a bat. Reacting fast enough she was able to avoid it. The clash it made with the Crystal roared throughout the Maze.
"What was that?"
[Naraku]
"I'm not sure."
[Miike]
"It wasn't us."
[Isha]
"Do you think Crystal is okay?"
[Obitiga]
"It seems like it came from further in the Maze, closer to the front entrance."
[Miike]
"We better hurry then."
[Naraku]
Now fighting for her life against not just one random attacker but four she begins doing her best to keep up. Dodging from the left and the right. With bats swinging all around her she begins to bob and weave, sending out a few fireballs she begins to keep her attacks at bay long enough to quickly check on Twilight.
"Are you okay?"
[Crystal]
[Twilight Grunts]
"Here take this, it should hopefully help."
[Crystal]
"Did you think we would just let you save him?"
[Assailant 5]
It seems there was another clown unseen by her earlier. With the swing of his Bat he clashes with the Staff of Crystal as she defends. Unable to fully get out from under the weight, she uses one of her new spells. Sending out a pool of liquid around her. The assailant slips and falls, with the liquid below she pushes Twilight to a safer area. Returning to her feet she begins to fire off a few more fireballs, pushing the group of attackers, minus the one that slipped, into one area.
Letting out another pool of liquid she slams the base of staff into the ground, sending out lighting throughout it. Shocking the assailants they fall to the ground. As they lit up she was able to grab a glimpse of them, it turns out they were Clowns.
As the other Clown behind her begins to prepare to attack, two arrows fly past her face landing within their chest. With the drop of the mask it was clear to see another Clown, though a woman.
"Twilight!"
[Crystal]
"Are you okay Crystal?"
[Naraku]
"Yes but I'm pretty sure Twilight needs help. I gave him a potion to heal, but I'm not sure if it will help."
[Crystal]
"Are those Clowns?"
[Obitiga]
"Yes."
[Crystal]
"Doesn't that mean that the Carnival is actually on this?" [Naraku]
"Yeah it might, but for all we know it could be just people in costumes."
[Isha]
"Like that one there?"
[Miike]
"Should we tell the officials?"
[Obitiga]
"We have to, or this may never get resolved."
[Miike]
"Let's hurry back to the exit and see if those other attendants grabbed an official yet."
[Isha]
Appearing on the other side of the exit with a mass commotion full of arguments. The group lays the hurt Twilight somewhere to rest.
"What do you mean it's not your fault. There's people missing."
[Carnival Attendant 15]
"Are you sure, we've had plenty of false reports before."
[Carnival Official, with a smirk]
"FALSE REPORTS!!"
[Carnival Attendant]
"Can't you see that there's less people in our group?"
"I'm sorry but I'm not the same official who gave you the Crystal Maze. I would be unsure about that question."
[Carnival Attendant 10]
"WELL THE ANSWER IS YES. THERE'S SIGNIFICANTLY LESS OF US THAN BEFORE."
[Carnival Attendant 1]
"Once again we cannot do anything without proof."
[Carnival Official]
"Here's your proof."
[Naraku, as he tosses the defeated Clown's mask at the officials feet]
"What is that?"
[Carnival Official]
"It's a mask from one of the goons who attacked our brother over there."
[Carnival Attendant 3]
"Would you like me to call the medical team?"
[Carnival Official]
"WOULD WE LIKE YOU TO CALL THE MEDICAL TEAM!!"
[Carnival Attendant 1]
"WHAT WE WOULD LIKE IS FOR YOU TO CHECK ON THIS."
[Carnival Attendant 2]
"Were you able to find my mother?"
[The Small Child, as he wipes his face]
"No kid,.. we apologize."
[Isha]
"Do you think she is okay?"
[Small Child]
"Definitely, let the grown up talk and we will go find her okay?"
[Isha]
"Why don't you go sit with that young over there? Make sure he's okay."
[Miike]
"Okay."
[The Small Child, Wiping the last of his tears]
