We tried our best to keep our heads down as we passed through the entrance gates. Hoping no one would recognize Naraku most of all. Checking here and there I saw no getting pulled aside, as our time to pass approached. Finally as we were about to enter the final leg of the entrance one of the Carnival Officials walked over to us.
"Welcome! On behalf of The Carnival of Illumination I would like to offer the four of you an exclusive experience within our attraction."
[Carnival Official]
"No."
[Twilight]
"Are you sure? This offer may only present itself one time. As you heard from the Ringleader it is a once in a lifetime opportunity."
[Carnival Official]
"No thank you, we'd just like to explore."
[Twilight]
"That's fine. But can you give us your names, just in case you change your mind. The offer may still stand for the four of you."
[Carnival Official]
"Uhh sure..."
[Twilight, confused]
"I don't think we should give them our real name."
[Crystal, worried]
"Same."
[Obitiga, a little worried]
"Tw.."
[Twilight, as Crystal interrupts]
"I'm Bell."
[Crystal]
"Orien!"
[Obitiga]
"Nima"
[Naraku]
"Laikas."
[Twilight, understanding the others]
"Thank you I will pass this to our Ringleader, and if you happen to change your mind at any time. Just find her."
[Carnival Official]
As we finally passed through the gates we entered into an amazing view. The first thing we saw was this type of enclosure with horses running in a circle. There were young ones riding on top of them. To the left it looked like an amazing river flowing throughout the all Carnival. On the right, there were spectacular lights, a crowd seemed to be forming around it. With a Carnival Official leading the way.
"Maybe we should join them?"
[Obitiga, pointing at the group]
"Do you think we would find out any information from them?"
[Crystal]
"It's that or we just have to search on our own."
[Naraku]
"Let's check it out first."
[Twilight]
"Welcome Guest, follow me to the Crystal Maze. Where thousands of onlookers have been said to have disappeared. Where you may get lost within the gaze of the Crystal of Corruption. Don't wander too long within it or you will suffer the consequences."
[Carnival Official]
"I wonder what it's like."
[Carnival Attendee 3]
"From what I've heard people have actually gone missing."
[Carnival Attendee 4]
"Really do you think it's safe then?"
[Carnival Attendee 1]
"It has to be there's no way they'd let anyone back in here."
[Carnival Attendee 2]
"Maybe they closed off the part people went missing in."
[Carnival Attendee 3]
"You know what I heard, they just kind of stopped looking for the people they couldn't find."
[Carnival Attendee 4]
"No way, what about if they died in there?"
[Carnival Attendee 2]
They'd have to get the bodies at least."
[Carnival Attendee 1]
Do you think that's what we saw, or you saw Naraku?
[Twilight]
"No, those were animal parts I'm sure of that."
[Naraku]
"Either way we should check this out I'm pretty sure it could lead to whatever Gio needed us to investigate."
[Crystal]
The Crowd begins to move towards the left of the Carnival making their way more towards the river. The closer they got the more you could see a small cave entrance within the cliff side of the river.
"So my lovely Carnival goers, thank you for following me. Within this Cave you find the Crystal Maze, so just step right in. And don't forget to watch out for our Clowns, they'll scare you half to death."
[Carnival Official]
As we began to enter the Cave you could see a few fliers around advertising the attraction. Talking about how you could get lost for hours roaming around. That a dark Crystal full of Corruption was located at the center for those who managed to find their way out. You couldn't tell where the exit was at first which I guess makes sense. It would be too easy if it was any other way.
We began moving with the Maze, left, rights, straight paths. Some were narrow, some were wide, but they didn't seem to lead anywhere. We would instead get lost. The crowd began to shrink as people began disappearing from the site, taking different paths. Eventually we came to what looked like a glowing room, it seems the Corrupt Crystal was located up ahead. Thinking we had just found our way out and we didn't have to worry about this part of the Carnival we raced towards it. As we approached we noticed it was not an actual path to the Crystal. Instead it was just another Mirror.
"Fuck, it's just another one. Do any of you see another pathway?"
[Naraku]
"No, not yet."
[Obitiga]
"What about everyone else?"
[Naraku]
"I'm not sure I didn't see anyone."
[Crystal]
"Where did Twilight go?"
[Naraku]
"No clue, when we were about eight paths behind was the last time I saw him."
[Obitiga]
"Do you think he could have wandered down the wrong path?"
[Crystal]
"Maybe? What about the rest of the attendees? They disappeared, it seems they must have done the same.
"Over here! It seems like there's a way this way."
[Naraku]
We began heading down this new path with the light getting brighter. As we entered another corridor we see a way out with a glowing black crystal within its center.
"So what do we do with it?"
[Obitiga]
"Right now I don't think that's the important fact. Look."
[Naraku, point at the path they entered from as other attendees entered]
"Is that everyone who made it this far with us?"
[Naraku]
"Yeah, everyone else must have disappeared."
[Crystal]
"Should we tell the Carnival Officials?"
[Obitiga]
"What if those attendees were telling the truth?"
[Crystal]
"We just have to go back then? At least for Twilight you know."
[Obitiga]
"Well first let's get these people out of here."
[Naraku]
"Then you all go ahead, I'll go see if I can find him."
[Crystal, Using a spell to create a glowing ball of fire and lightning]
