"Well we did find these amazing sandstorms full of creatures so we could try that again."

"Yeah but with the amount of us we have here we'd probably not get enough experience."

"Do you mean the one a little outskirts of the desert? In the Dark Lands?"

"Dark Lands?"

"You should have passed them on the way here."

"Even so, are you sure that would be the best training area?"

"I know it can be dangerous, but the old race track is out there so we can practice our riding as well."
[Crystal]
"Oh, definitely then. I would love to try one of our new animals out."

"Before we keep voting we should tell them more about the area and history of the place. Before someone gets hurt."

"Background and History? Did something horrible happen in the area?"
[Twilight]
"Well let me start from the beginning."
[Crystal]
"We'd have to start from when life on the Island of Thidimon harmonized more with the Luminous center, where the Citadel now resides. In the beginning it shone bright enough to luminate the entire island. Allowing for nature to roam as much as it needed as well as the early native race of the Ascended. As time passed the race began to gather more towards the center. After ending interpersonal tribal wars the Ascended race began to advance itself. Creating the Citadel, amongst other areas for themselves to train and grow. They began transforming what was an activity needed inorder to hunt into something that would better their society. In which they now call the Race for Luminous Grande.
Due to the popularity of the race you began to see them abandon the areas outside of the Citadel. The lack of nourishment these areas got began affecting the Core light source. Eventually this caused those areas to go dark. With the darkness taking over these were called the Dark Lands, filling up with creatures that no longer needed a lightsource to keep themselves flourishing. These areas are filled with storms like the Stormy Outskirts, but dark, barren, and cold. The old Race tracks in the area had grown mold and erosion due time, and the storms.
The Shrine of Envy has been one of the staples of the old outskirt. Not covered by the Dark Lands, not many of us explore it."
