"What about living expenses? Are they sufficient?" Cora Jorney asked tenderly, her chin propped up as she looked at Jasmine Yale.
"I'll work part-time while studying at school, so it should be enough," Jasmine said.
She knew that since Cora Jorney had sought her out, she must have thoroughly investigated her circumstances.
Definitely aware she was an orphan, without father or mother, and living in somewhat straitened conditions.
"Miss Yale, I sponsor university students every year. How about this, I'll give you two hundred thousand. If you can pay it back, do it later, if not, it's also fine," Cora Jorney said.
