The driver was going slow, the black Rolls-Royce crawling forward in the pouring rain.
"There's been a lot of rain recently, cold and wet," the driver said.
"This is my first time coming to Landon," Lilac Serval explained.
"Oh, so it's Miss Serval's first visit. Once the weather gets warmer, Landon is really nice, suitable for living. Sometimes you can walk around; there are beautiful sceneries and many historical sites."
Lilac Serval remained silent.
Originally, she had planned to return to Lonton in just a few days, but an unexpected matter had delayed her.
She wasn't sure if she could make it back on time.
Chale Cheney was tired from the day, feeling sleepy, and he leaned on the seat dozing off.
Lilac Serval pulled him into her arms, "Sleep in my arms; it'll be more comfortable."
"Mm," Chale Cheney rubbed his eyes, "Thank you, Auntie."
He lay in Lilac Serval's arms, and soon, he fell into slumber.
The scent on Lilac Serval was different from that of Jasmine Yale.
