That evening, Jasmine Yale took them, along with Sweet Kitty, to a Western restaurant for dinner.
Jasmine Yale and Chale Cheney sat together, while Lilac Serval played with Sweet Kitty.
Lilac Serval quite liked cats but was too lazy to keep one herself, so she never had one.
This time, she found Jasmine's cat quite adorable.
Lilac Serval ordered some red wine and drank it with Jasmine.
"Miss Serval, is Chale having a hard time in the training field?" asked Jasmine Yale, concerned.
Before Lilac could respond, little Chale Cheney shook his head, "Not hard."
Lilac smiled, "The training should be nine hours a day, but I reduced it to three. My master is old now, likes to play with children, and isn't as unreasonable as he was in his youth. He turns a blind eye; he prefers to teach Chale chess and calligraphy rather than training. He seems very fond of the little fellow and kept saying, I never thought Mr. Cheney had children."
