Cage reached for the Phoenix Sword. The moment he grabbed the hilt, he felt connected to it.
"It can't be wrong. This is the Hero's Sword that my great-grandfather once used."
He unsheathed the longsword and gazed at the blue blade for a while, before he put the sword on the table affectionately.
"Uncle, if you like it, you can keep it. You're the one who should inherit this weapon anyway."
Cage subconsciously looked at Roland after hearing that.
In his opinion, Roland had a say in the ownership of this weapon, as Anna's man.
He didn't know how much the Hero's Sword was worth, but nobody would refuse a good weapon.
Those two must've found the sword together. Wouldn't Roland be angry if Andonara gave it to him just like that?
But after staring at Roland for two seconds, Cage didn't notice any change in his expression, as if he wouldn't have a problem no matter whom Andonara wanted to give the sword to.
