Chapter 1 - Truth or Dare

The air was hot and stuffy in the bunker and my classmates didn't make it any better. "My turn now!" declared someone. I wasn't really paying attention to the commotion anymore. My thoughts were dedicated to someone in particular. A boy. Damion, to be exact. My stomach felt all fuzzy and my cheeks sensitive to the touch.

Our class was on a class trip somewhere in the Swiss mountains and Switzerland, being Switzerland, it was raining in buckets. We were supposed to be sleeping in tepees. But, unfortunately, they had an open-top in the tepee for a fire. As to be expected, it had rained inside, soaking us and all our belongings all night long. On top of that, it had turned bitter cold, making it virtually unbearable staying outside in our wet clothes.

First, our teacher was so pissed by the bad weather that she wanted to go home right away, which would have ended the school trip two days early. But, thankfully, we were allowed to sleep in this bunker of the nearby village for one night instead of going back home immediately. So, here we were - boys sitting on one side of the three-bed high column, girls on the other side. We were playing "Truth or Dare" and it was pretty entertaining.

First, we had Laska go up to a young black guy outside of the bunker. He was about 25, so about 8 years older than her, and she had to make him a proposal of marriage by getting down on her knees and holding out a gummy ring. The man laughed and actually accepted. She blushed hard and turned around, only to see the whole class have a five-minute laugh flash. I almost felt sorry for her.

There was lots of kissing going on too. Tia, who was considered the prettiest of the girls, and Luca, the "hero" of all the girls, had the most amazing kiss I had ever seen. It reminded me of a movie. The Titanic to be exact.

I wondered what it felt like. It had just looked so perfect.

Tia had thick diamond blue hair, sky blue eyes and a petite face. Like an angel.

And, I admit, I was a bit jealous of her looks.

I drew my attention back to the ongoing game and yawned. I was trying to cover up my nervousness. I always felt uncomfortable during this game. Though I usually was a very social person, I was a bit shy when it came to these types of things. Unconsciously, I touched my headphones which were safely slung around my neck. I looked over to a friend sitting to my left and asked her for her lip gloss. Hesitantly, but unable to deny my direct request, she handed over lip-gloss and I thankfully applied it to my dry lips.

"Damion! I choose Damion!" That instantly got my attention back and my best friend Katherine, or Kat for short, who was sitting on the other side of the bed, and I met eyes for a second. She winked back at me. Her long golden locks and golden green cat eyes always reminded me of some sort of feline. And tonight she was on the hunt for the perfect opportunity to get me and Damion to do something together. I hadn't asked her to do it. Actually I had told her not to, but I knew she was still looking out for me. Oh god, this is going to be horrible. Already blushing, I hid my face behind my sleeve and stared intently at the one who had challenged Damion.

Eddy was smirking at him the way a hungry fox looks at a plump chicken. "Revenge will be taken now for what you made me do." He grinned, brushing through his short brown hair. That was definitely not a good sign, but Damion just smiled at him provokingly. "Cheeky are we now?" Eddy answered to Damion's unspoken challenge. "You're going to go outside and run around the house screaming "I just had sex" really, really loudly. How does that sound?" Damion's smile faded. I could barely stop a burst of laughter from escaping my lips. Oh god, this was so hilarious! But then I remembered it was my crush and my smile disappeared.

Our eyes met for a second and he gave me an embarrassed look and quickly averted his eyes. "Like the song!" shouted Sebille, one of my few friends. "Yeah!" Taylor turned up the music and blasted us with that song. Thankfully we were in a shelter, so no one could hear us.

This was so awkward.
