11/24 - School Morning
Mr. Silvas: Mazoku, please take a seat.
I'm guessing the other people in the real world just saw me standing around..
Class passes, onto Lunch. I walked next to Kaito in the hallways, in sadness. "Hey Kaito, where are the other 2?" I asked. He responded with "Negiro is likely with Keila, and Ichiro got with Midori!"
"Oh.. I guess he pulled it off then.." I said in a monotone voice. "Yeah, that girl with the gre- Hey Mazoku, you don't sound so good, are you all right?" Kaito pointed out my voice. "No i'm not okay, infact i'm thinking of investigating and infiltrating a few old friends.." I said. "Who are these old friends?" He asked. "Oh, just a few forsaken guards." I replied. His jaw dropped and he urged me not to do it.
Kaito: Mazoku, why do you ev-
"You don't understand. My lover is in danger and it's my duty to save her." I explained, then walked off. I climbed up to the school rooftop, where i'd text the others if they can meet me there asap.
And so, some time passed.
They all walked up to the rooftop.
I explained the situation, and they asked "Why should we get involved with this?"
"The answer's quite simple.. If we let The Manipulators wander around the city, there's a good chance Keila and Midori could be kidnapped." I explained. "Wait, why Midori?" Ichiro asked. "Cause of your father." I told him. Ichiro explained that he didn't have one, so I told him to believe what he will. "Not to mention, we coooould get recognition from the Power Kings!" I said with a wink. They smirked and wanted in on the investigation. "What's the plan?" They all asked. "It's a pretty simple plan, we need to wait for the "M" to appear on the sky, then we sprint as fast as we can to the location. If it's not their base of operations, then we have no choice but to interrogate whoever's there, got it?" I explained my plan. Everyone agreed to help me. We climbed on different tall buildings once school ended, we would be communicating through earpieces. In the time being, we decided to train our powers for the upcoming fight.
11/24/20 - 11:00 P.M.
"Everybody! The M is in the sky!" I told them. Me and Kaito don't have any abilities that allow us to move faster, but we are fast runners, and i'm a far jumper. Ichiro used his scarfire that boosts his speed, and Negiro covered his feet in lightning that makes all movements quicker. Kaito would run across the streets to the M in the sky, and as for me, I jumped across buildings, and made demon arm a wing that can give me a small 30ft boost in the air. I landed near the M. "It's some sort of warehouse?" Negiro pointed out. We crouched all the way to the trees as cover, and as expected, guards are guarding the entrance. "Let's make the stealth approach." I suggested. They all nodded. "All right, how are we getting rid of those 2 guards?" I asked.
Negiro: I got this.
He ran quietly, did a flip in the air, covered his Kunais in lightning and threw them at the guards' throat. He ran up to them and banged their skulls together to ensure their knocked out. I peeked through the windows, and there was only a person at the front, leading to another door. "What should we do?" I asked. "Wait, if I can heal people, does that mean I can drain them?" Kaito thought. He tried doing it, and it actually worked! The guy was drowsy and didn't know where he was. We opened the door and punched him in the face to knock him out.
11/24 - 11:20 PM
"All right, moving on to the next door." I whispered. I peeked an eye to see what we'd face next.. Holy shit.. "We're dealing with more than 15 guys.." I said. Everybody starting thinking of a strategy..
"I've got it." I whispered sorta loudly. "What's the plan?" Kaito asked. "Negiro, your role is to shock all the goons at once, got it?" I told him. "Kaito, your role is to drain the warden, the guy uptop the stairs." And as for Me and Ichiro, we'll be knocking goons left and right!!
Alrighty, let's do this!!!
I kicked the door 10 feet away from me.
Negiro: BRANCHING SHOCK!
He paralyzed every goon in the area. Kaito had drained the power of the guy who seemed to lead the people, but it was as if nothing happened.. Ichiro stabbed one person with his scythe, and threw him that knocked 2 more people unconscious. Me, with my demon arm, I spread all my demon claws into 5 different goons, leaving them dead.. Everyone recovered from paralysis, so Negiro and Kaito joined us! Negiro slit 2 goons' throat, and they fell on the ground. Kaito was punching some goons in the face, knocking them out. "I think we got all of the-" Their leader cut me off. I might not have any super natural abilities, but I sure am good with knives. He ran towards Kaito and stabbed his back. Kaito spat blood out and fell over.
Their leader was laughing maniacally.. Why didn't Kaito move? "HAHAHAHAHA! JOKES ON YOU! MY ABILITY ALLOWS ME TO STOP ANY PERSON'S MOVEMENTS!" The leader yelled. "Are you a Forsaken One?" Negiro asked him. "HAHAHAHAAHAH no. I'm just the guy in charge of leading The Manipulators' lackeys." He said. "My name is Chrono." He revealed his name.
Chrono: Stasis!
Everyone was suddenly frozen.. "Is this.. Where we die?" I said in a very monotone voice. "Yeah.." said Negiro. Kaito was still on the floor, possibly dead.. Chrono started laughing uncontrollably. Chrono walked up to Ichiro and punched him in the nose, where he would then start bleeding everywhere. Chrono threw his knife at Negiro's Shin, which caused his leg to shake. Chrono would laugh again. "HAHAHAHA! I JUST CANNNNNOT BELIEVE I JUST CAUGHT THE SON OF A FORSAKEN ONE!!" Chrono blabbered.. There's no way we are escaping this.. this.. this is where we all die.
~The Blackroom~
I found myself waking up from a metal bed.
"Remember, your power is the root of ALL powers." Maragi calmed me.
~Back into the Warehouse~
"No. Don't you dare mention my father to me. He abandoned me, and i'm hunting him down for that.. he is my arch nemesis." I said in an eerie voice. I summon that shadow pistol I had unintentionally summoned in class.. I walk up to Chrono. I started laughing. Until suddenly, something happened to my body for a split second.. It made Chrono fall over on the ground, scared.. "I-i-it matches th-the description... shadow body, shadow hood and torn cape, glowing red eyes, a face shrouded in darkness you can't even see it.. and la-lastly.. that katana. he's overfilling in darkness.." Chrono started mumbling. I went up to Chrono on the ground with my pistol pointed at his head. "Undo your powers, now.." I said in a psychotic voice while smirking. Immediately after I said that, Negiro and Ichiro were moving again. Ichiro's nose had recovered, with Negiro limping. Kaito is still on the ground, helpless.. "Now, cooperate with us, or die." We all said. Chrono agreed without hesitation. "Where are The Manipulators and Yuna?" I asked.
11/24 - 11:30 P.M.
"The Manipulators usually kill their targets on a hill. You can find them by seeing a sudden beacon in an area. The reason this happens is because The Manipulators can mirror people and abilities. So, if they mirror your ability, a beam will shoot in the sky. And as for Yuna, The Manipulators ALWAYS kill their victims at 12 A.M." Chrono explained. "What?! C'mon guys we gotta go!!" I panicked. I shedded tears, knowing there's a chance Yuna could die.. "Kaito! Are you alive?" I was scared.
