"He left, didn't he?"
Nodding her head, Anastasia spoke casually with Sarah whom she considered her newest friend.
"Seems like he does this often."
"Yes. I've never once seen him walk out of the door. He always uses the window to leave and enter."
"Humph! If I was him, I wouldn't even dare stay in the same house as you."
"Don't say that! You should…."
Stopping Sarah before she continued and retold him the proceedings of that day in one more way which favoured Felix, Anastasia stood up and said, "Since he has left, I'll be going as well."
"He hates me, doesn't he?"
Rolling her eyes, Anastasia didn't know what he should call this woman who didn't seem to have heard him.
Having talked with her for quite a long time, Anastasia was sure that she was a mature woman who was quite knowledgeable and proficient in many things.
However when things concerned Felix, she would seemingly turn dumb and start behaving like a teenager who didn't know what was what.
After all, since she knew what it was that happened between Felix and Sarah, what could possibly make the woman think that Felix hated her?
Especially after he massacred the entire Asta Family for her.
At the same time though, even though she felt that all of this drama was a pain in the ass, Anastasia couldn't say that she didn't feel envious of Sarah.
Not to say that she wanted a stepson and the same story, but she wanted to feel like a teenager who was so much in love that she would also turn dumb and have her heart flutter over even the smallest things that were related to him.
As a woman herself, Anastasia deep down inside her heart wanted someone for whom she wouldn't mind sacrificing the entire world and even die for.
"Maybe it's because…"
Hastening her steps, Anastasia quickly left so that she wouldn't feel anymore envious than she already was.
…
Leaving his house like always, Felix didn't show any sign that he was the terrifying expert who massacred the infamous Asta Family.
In fact, he didn't even have any thoughts of telling what he actually did to Sarah either.
As for Anastasia, it was obvious that she was the one who healed his wounds due to which he didn't need to say anything to her either.
With such thoughts Felix entered the school which seemed more bright and cheerful than it did to him in the past. Maybe it was because Chris, and everyone else from the Asta Family were dead and therefore didn't pollute the school with their poisonous presences.
Thinking like this, Felix chuckled and almost failed to notice Maria who was standing near the entrance of the building.
"Felix."
"Huh?"
Stopping and looking towards the principal whom he thought didn't even know his name, Felix clicked his tongue inwardly from seeing that her legs were completely hidden behind her clothes.
Seeing this, the smile of Maria's face turned rigid as she said, "I'm disappointed, Felix. Never did I think that you were the kind who'd escape from training."
Showing a weird expression, Felix would later learn that due to how hard the first day's training was everyone was exempt from the special training for the rest of the week due to which Maria was allowed to say those words.
Still, despite feeling his pride hurt from being looked down on, Felix showed zero expression on his face.
Looking as if he didn't care, Felix was just about to agree with Maria and leave when she suddenly smiled brightly and declared, "But, since I know that you must have had your own reasons to skin yesterday's training, I'm going to give you the rare privilege of receiving special, special training from me."
"Now come with me, we'll start right away."
Walking away once she finished speaking, Maria left Felix with no choice but to silently follow her while feeling curious to find out what kind of training waited for him which almost no one in the world was not scared of.
…
The high school which Felix and the others studied at was one of the uncountable number of schools established by the Astral Government to teach common knowledge regarding the Astral World to those in the younger generation and recruit the talented ones from the general public who didn't belong to any force.
Due to this, attending the school wasn't something mandatory. And at the same time, those who had a strong background they didn't attend these high schools.
Instead, they'd train inside their own clans or families and in the future decide if they wanted to join some Sect, University, or Academy to further train themselves under the best of the best elites of the world.
And Felix despite knowing that with his current strength could pass the entrance tests and join any sect or academy of his choice, still chose to go to school since it was sort of like a daily routine for him, and he couldn't join any of them without having to leave Sarah and the others behind.
This however didn't just mean how Felix would have to stay inside the academy or sect the entire time, it also referred to how Felix would need to leave the 3rd Dimension and go to the higher dimensions where the sects and academies were located at.
