Synopsis
Benjamin accidentally swallowed the universe when he was a small, young boy. To him, it was nothing but a pebble, but to the millions of cultivators in the universe it was the most precious cultivation resource ever created. However, for someone at the age of four, swallowing a universe takes its toll. At the age of twenty-one, he never had a girlfriend yet, and grew a prodigiously large stomach which gained him the nickname of meatball. Will this meatball, however, be just what his world needs to stop it from being absorbed and swallowed by a greedy cultivator, or will Benjamin swallow him first?

Chapter 1 - He Swallowed the Universe

Some cultivators believe that anyone in the universe is able to become a god if they have just one thing, and that is luck. If you find the right item, then you should be able to become a god. For this reason, many cultivators spend years journeying across the thousand worlds to find small trinkets that possess spiritual energy. They are looking for something to eventually turn them into gods.

Millions of years can pass, however, until one true treasure is discovered, and when it is, sometimes the person that found it doesn't even realize it. In the case of Benjamin, he was digging in the ground as a 4 year old child and found a small seed that looked edible. Seeing as his mother wasn't looking at the time, he decided to eat it because of its fragrant smell.

The treasure he ate was known as the seed of the universe. It was considered an extremely high grade treasure that would eventually cause an entire world to grow inside of his spiritual organs!‌ It was something that everyone in his village of Thatch would have loved to have swallowed.

Unfortunately, it came with one very unfortunate side effect, and that was until he was 21 he required 20 hours of sleep a day. Today, seventeen years later on his birthday, for the first time in years he had enough energy to walk into the kitchen and get himself some food.

At the moment, his parents were so shocked to see him awake as they spoke with a doctor about their son's condition. This was the eighteenth doctor they've seen in years, and his mother could barely believe that the doctor had got him up in the day time.

Benjamin usually slept except from 12 - 4 am which was when he woke up and ate enough to cause the family to go broke, which was then followed by him cultivating for a few hours.

Benjamin almost couldn't believe that the sun was up. He often joked that the day he'd see the sun again would be the best day of his life. However, rather then feeling like it was the best day of his life, he just felt minor disappointment at the lack of food in his fridge. If he only had four hours and had to cook, he could forget about eating enough to fill his stomach…

"Mom… Why is the sun up?" Benjamin yawned as he looked outside the window, staring at the sun without any care for the pain coming from his eyes. "Am I‌ hallucinating, or did the doctor here finally fix whatever was wrong with me…"

"He didn't check on you yet… However, this is absolutely great son!‌ You even lost weight! My little meatball is finally awake during the daylight!" His mother said as she smiled widely, watching the doctor walk out of the room with a disappointing look in his face.

"Anyways, yes I‌ lost weight, but it doesn't matter… My life is over if I‌ can't become an official cultivator… Do you know if the village elders will still let me test try out to be a sun warrior after I‌ turned twenty-one?"

"They will… they will if you go right now!" His beautiful mother couldn't believe that her son had just made the deadline to test his spiritual roots on the sun platform in the center of Thatch village. "However, you have to run as fast as you can!‌ Just remember to get–"

Benjamin hadn't been awake at 4 PM in over 17 years, and ran outside in his boxers towards the center of the town. In Thatch village, this meant that the cultivation pavilion was open. For the first time in years, he got to see the cultivation pavillion as everyone stared at him with eyes of disbelief and shock.

He knew that it was odd for him to be outside, but they didn't have to stare daggers into his back. In fact, he almost felt like he was about to burst as he ran past the guards and into the pavilion. They were so shocked to see Benjamin that they didn't even try and stop him as he jumped on top of the sun platform.

Normally, the village elders would have a fit if someone dared go onto the sun platform, however, they were so stunned to see someone in their boxers with an enthusiastic smile that they just laughed.

Of course, everyone had heard the story of Benjamin, the boy that had the tragic fate of never seeing the sun. Because of that, one of the elders even jumped onto the sun platform and also took off his robe in solidarity, which surprisingly revealed a old man with six pack abs.

This was Elder Lora, and everyone was surprised and baffled by his brazen behavior. Some of the women almost began to cry in shock at his impetuous actions. He was an elder that was revered as one of the top three wisest men in Thatch Village. If it wasn't for him, actually, Thatch Village would've already been swallowed whole by the surrounding villages in the area.

There were eight villages that made up Light Province, which was where Thatch Village was located, and the entire villages fate was based on the strength of the elders. Since Elder Lora was one of the strongest in all eight villages, they earned the rank of the third main village. However, now their strongest fighter was down to his boxers as well after removing his white pants. He was definitely making a statement… A‌ll the angry brandished stares were slowly removed from Benjamin, after this, and everyone returned to shopping in the pavilion.

Elder Lora, at this time, stepped into the center of the sun platform and tossed down eight small crystals around Benjamin. These crystals were known as energy sensing crystals, and would tell if Benjamin had what it took to become a sun warrior.

Now, all they had to do was wait thirty minutes and see if the crystals reacted to Benjamin's Divine Energy. If he was as strong as Elder Lora thought, then the embarrassment of becoming nearly completely denude on stage would be well worth it… However, at this time his brow twitched as he realized that two of the women he liked were staring at him with contempt. Elder Lora chided himself, feeling that he should have known better then to show his unkempt backside to those beautiful ladies.

"Just cultivate normally, boy, and if we're lucky, you will activate at least two crystals." Two crystals being just enough to get him into barracks of the sun warriors. "However, if you happen to get three, I'll forgive you for making those beautiful ladies lose their faith in me… Ever since I‌ lost my wife, I've never engaged in such precarious behavior…"

"You mean… You'll actually let me try out to be a cultivator? I‌ just wanted to cultivate in the sun for the first time in my life… They say for us of the sun race, that cultivating in the sun is a thousand times quicker than anything else."

"Yes… It is indeed unfortunate that you were relegated to cultivate in the darkness…" Elder Lora raised his brow with surprise at the boy's preternatural wisdom, finding him actually quite more pleasant to be around then the monster he was described to be. "However, those rocks don't test your overall cultivation, but your sun body… If you are to be a true sun warrior, then you should be able to activate at least two crystals okay…"

Elder Lora started to blush a lot as he felt a breeze ride up his back. "Regardless boy…" The old man with white hair paused as he looked back. "Our fates are intertwined… If you are not a good sun cultivator, then I‌ will have no excuse… So just do your best to focus on the Six Ray Sun Method that I‌ taught you when you were young…"

"The Six Ray Sun Method of Cultivation…" Benjamin had forgotten about that cultivation technique until those words were said. "Wow, the technique that is a thousand times stronger when it is day time… I wonder how it will feel to do it in the day time as oppoosed to the night…"

"In fact, I sometimes glowed at night when using that technique when I‌ was little. However, maybe when I‌ do it now, things will go even better…"

Elder Lora found it odd that the boy said he glowed. Glowing meant that the cultivation technique had been nearly perfectly executed for a certain amount of time, and usually required a ton of sunlight. However, if the boy was able to do that at night, what would happen in the day? The amount of sunlight at night, reflecting off their three moons, was one thousandth of the daytime… That meant that Benjamin might have really been worth the embarrassment of getting nearly naked!

At this time, Elder Lora turned around and saw the two beauties behind him chatting as a few of the students from Sun Academy came up to study the legendary nighttime meatball. At night, apparently, if you stayed up till 3 am, there was a legend of an extremely fat man rolling on a hill in the darkness in an attempt to keep himself awake. That was one of the legends of Benjamin, and one of the boys Nelson had even watched him run nearly 60 miles an hour only to fall asleep in a nest of beasts.

Regardless, Nelson's main focus right now was to see if Benjamin really had what it took to be a sun cultivator. Nelson, in many ways, was also like Elder Lora and had tremendous faith in their night time monster. If it wasn't for him, actually, many of the people in the 3rd class at Sun Academy would've already tried to attack Benjamin on his night time activities… One of those men, James, was finding it hard not to pummel Benjamin for showing up in the day time. His anger only grew stronger as he saw Benjamin try and use the six ray sun method.

"Hmph, he's exactly what I‌ told you… A coward that only stayed inside because he wanted to avoid the responsibilities of a Sun Warrior…" James said with contempt burning in his eyes… "While many of us were dying fighting Marred Beasts, and competing for treasure in the Star Competitions, he's been having a blast at night…"

"Remember that time he just 'accidentally' fell asleep in that girls bed…" James continued, laughing at the jerk's ridiculous behavior, which was only made worse because that girl was his sister. "My sister… My sister still has nightmares about meatball coming to steal her away in the middle of the night…"

"Wait, but wasn't that an accident?" Nelson said as he recalled the story of that night… If he remembered correctly, Benjamin had been rolling down a hill to keep himself awake, and had fallen asleep mid roll. Like a horse falling asleep mid run, he ended up accidentally falling into James' sister's bed… It was really not his fault, at least it seemed that way until today… If he was awake now, did he fall into her bed on purpose? However, Nelson couldn't dare let James get any more reasons to hate Benjamin in his head. If he really was just pretending to have a sleeping problem, then James would probably kill him.

"Come on… Just think about this logically," James continued, "If he was trying to accidentally sneak into a girls room, would he really sneak into your sister's room? She's engaged to someone in another village… wouldn't it make more sense to sneak into someones room who isn't taken by a powerful adversary?"

James shook his head, and ground his fist as Benjamin started getting lost in the ways of cultivating the sun method… He began to reach what was known as the gateway to cultivation. A‌ round orb in the center of his head started to glow brighter and brighter to the relief of Elder Lora. If he was able to do this, then it meant he'd at least be able to be a one crystal cultivator!

A one crystal cultivator wasn't useless, and would often be put to work in the hills gathering resources for blacksmiths and apothecaries. However, the speed of how quickly you got your cultivation orb to light also mattered. He got it to light up in less than one minute, which meant that he could be an extremely talented cultivator!

At this moment, he watched Benjamin with careful, wise eyes, checking his form and his posture. He used what was known as the purple haze eyes to start checking how the energy was being absorbed into Benjamin's body. As of right now, it looked perfect as he scanned his network from head to toe.

With the purple haze eyes, he could even see the energy slowly coming in from his forehead and heading to the point in his hands. If that started to glow, then it meant that Benjamin was probably going to be a two crystal cultivator!‌ However, for some reason, as he watched closely, Benjamin's energy started to deviate… Rather then going to the hand, it seemed like an angry monster began to ravenously suck up all the energy coming from his head point and sending it to his heart…

This was terrible!‌ This was the sign of a misaligned cultivator! He gulped, and turned back at the girls who were staring at him with wanton eyes… Perhaps undressing wasn't such a bad idea? Regardless, that wasn't the point!‌ A‌ misaligned cultivator was something that rarely happened to any cultivators!‌ It could be either an extremely good blessing, or a curse depending on how the energy circulated!

Luckily, at this moment, the energy from the heart seemed to branch back out into the hands… If this was the case, then this was actually a good thing, it would mean that he would be a perfect pugilist!‌ However, as he kept watching, his mouth eventually began to drool. He had what was known as perfect misalignment. His energy then went from his hands to his feet and then back up to his heart…

"This is insane… He's making Elder Lora cry…" James said as he walked up to the side of the stage, preparing to jump up to the platform… "I'm going to go kick him off the stage… It's disrespectful to all us hardworking warriors that he sits with sweaty wet ass on the stage!"

"He's… he's about to test the crystals… Just wait…" Nelson said as he grabbed his friends arm, pulling him away from the stage to the disbelief of their group. Nelson was definitely a lot weaker than James on a good day, and would outright be slaughtered by him on a bad day… "Listen… Your sister once told me she actually likes meatball… For your sister, please don't ruin it for all of us…"

"Huh, you out of your mind, weakling?" James slapped away Nelson's arm before he realized that Elder Lora was staring at him with burning and passionate eyes full of tears… "Ugh, I mean… Look at Elder Lora… He needs someone to kick Benjamins ass… Look at the way he's staring at me…"

"That means don't approach…" Nelson sighed, finding James as gullible and stupid as ever… "Fine, I'll give you permission to hit me once later if I'm wrong about Benjamin… However, I got a really, really good feeling about his future…"

"Dick… You're such a useless weakling!" James shoved Nelson away before he jumped on the stage… He was about to go over to Benjamin and kick him off before he noticed eight crystals floating around Benjamin's body… There was no way!‌ There was no way he was an eight crystal sun warrior!‌

"The… the stage is glowing too!"

"Incredible!‌ He activated the hidden ninth crystal!" Two elders said as they gawked at Benjamin and his growing prowess and power… Their eyes full of disbelief and happiness as a few of the rocks around Benjamin started to levitate… "There is no way!‌ If he's really a ninth crystal sun warrior, that means the stars have come into alignment for our village!‌ All the resources from West Capital will be sent here for all of us to partake in!"

All the elders smiled so widely their mouths almost broke, which only grew wider as they realized that a cultivator was flying overhead. They immediately felt greed begin to well up in their eyes as they looked up at the fat, brown haired Benjamin as he slowly rose on the stage… This… this was their superstar!‌
