Back at the village everything returned to normal. Classes resumed and training was still tough. There was however a problem though and that would be if I wanted more years for rings I'd have to come up with an alternate was of obtaining them than slaughtering all the wildlife in the world.
Thinking about it I came up with a plan. "System I want to create a domain style dungeon with spirt beasts as the monsters." I tell the system.
Sure enough. [Confirmed please design the style of dungeon.]
a list of designs pop up I go with a simple massive domain separated by barriers. First part of the area 10 year spirits and plants. Second part 100 year old spirits, plants and materials. And so on all the way up to 1000000 year old beasts and spirit.
I further separate the domain into different types of areas like snow and ice, sand, volcanic, ocean, forests.
Soon I've burned through billions in gold creating a new dungeon domain. There's a naturally increased reproduction and aging rate on monsters in the domain so I'll never run out.
I look over my new creation with happiness. This will do well I can even release some animals back into the wild to replenish from the massacre I caused it has nothing to do with Luna finding out about my evil deeds and scolding me for it. nope..... okay maybe a little.
Next up spirit bones. In the novel tang San had a couple of these. The first being a spider Lance that grew multiple stabby legs from his back that could cause poison and drain things. However I see zero use in this item for me and I don't particularly want to have stabby lances growing from my back. I did however get the spirit bone during my slaughter of a spiders nest. I mean why would I want them when my vines already do that? Just seems kind of pointless to me. as for other spirit bones most of them have effects I don't really need. Like make fireballs, or do special slash attacks or increase certain abilities. None I've really found useful. The only decent one was the one my mother had given Tang Hao when she reverted to plant form. It's a blue silver silver grass spirit bones with powerful regenerative skills. It's strong enough to regenerate lost limbs if the bone is still there and has a heal over time effect that makes you reach your peak.
I melded it back into her plant body for healing purposes. She should be fully recovered soon.
Other than that most of them are junk. I quietly sort through them in my workshop. When a thought hits me. Can I use these bones as some kind of forging material or maybe add them onto items for different effects?
Pondering on this I pull out a blank ninja puppet. I take off his arm and start tinkering. With some spirit energy I meld the bone into its arm and check for any problems with movement. After a few replacement pieces and adjustments I pop it back into place.
Using Chakra threads I activate the puppet and it clatters off the table getting into combat position.
I test out hand motions for the puppet before trying to make it use the bone. Nothing happens.
I try a couple more times with varying degrees of energy. Nothing.
I ponder for a few moments on why it isn't working.
Suddenly it clicks I withdraw my Chakra and use spirit energy to form threads. I had forgotten about the different energy systems.
With a woosh the bone in the arm glows and activates and a jet of flame comes out looking like a small flamethrower. Sadly this burns up the arm of my puppet leaving a slightly smoking spirit bone to drop to the ground with some metal pieces clinking to the floor.
"It's still a success though." I mutter happily.
I jot down some notes and test out some more things. Happy with my new discovery. I mean sure not all bones can be used for my puppets like they won't need healing spirit bones as they are made of wood.....Auto-Recovering puppets!
Mad cackles and explosions that would make the weasley twins cry tears of joys come from my workshop for the rest of the day.
More ideas come one after another the explosions stop the cackles continue only to have the clang of blacksmith hammers follow them.
If I can use them to make puppets more deadly what about weapons? Sure I don't need fancy spirit bone weapons but who doesn't like cool new stuff. Maybe I'll come up with something amazing.
Sadly I was far to hungry and only ended up making a spirit bone stove that evenly cooks my food. We can't be geniuses all the time. I think while adding some delicious BBQ sauce to the rack of roasting ribs. Throwing some large potato wedges on the grill and adding some soul seasoning to them.
Making my way over to the door I open it and inside falls grandmaster and the girls closely followed by Ophis and Gir who smelt food.
"We heard explosions and where worried." grandmaster explained looking around then spotting the spirit bones.
"My god where did you get so many spirit bones?" he asks in shock.
"internet." I casually reply.
"interwhat?" he asks.
