The next morning I have to groggily extract myself from the tangle of fluffy bunny ears, kitty tails and loli dragon slobber before starting off my day. Bella made breakfast while I showered soon followed by Xiao Wu as we got ready for the first day of classes.
First off was initiation where they introduced us all to our teachers and told us what we would be studying. Basics about the spirit combat systems. Praise for spirit hall. How to meditate properly. Basic reading and writing for the younger ones I luckily got to skip out on all the math and basics by doing some tests to prove I could and earned extra meditation time.
That's usually what happens until lunch time. Where I would constantly be given fearful or angry stares by the rich kids. As I happily try to eat my own weight in meat.
Then we head back to the trunk for an hour of meditation and extra classes joined by grandmaster.
Then a series of stretching and workout routines made up by some of the best teachers in the world. Followed by combat practice and weapons handling.
My new combat teacher would be son wukong for a while as he had great staff skills and hand to hand combat. The monkey god was happy to help out and provide new insights he could go toe to toe with teacher with his unorthodox combat style. When she didn't use her insane strength or weapons. however she still never lost only adjusted.
Koneko and Hinata where assigned to help out Xiao Wu with both soft and hard style hand to hand combat. As the girl was super flexible, the gentle fist that Hinata designed for herself was perfect. She was also taught properly about the human body with grandmaster joining in as the current world didn't really have much in the ways of microscopes or human biology most of it was just about different spirit masters.
After a hard days work we would soak in herbal baths for healing and then meditate until bed. It was agreed between all the doctors that even if you could meditate instead of sleep that stresses out the brain and causes problems and it was not advisable. They had written thesis to back it up.
Saturday and Sunday where free days so students could have hobbies and work if they wanted. I spent mine faking weakness at the arena and gambling to increase my profits or taking the girls out to see new things. of course they would come and watch me fight in the arena. I had also worn my godly raiment and tried my best to just use hand to hand combat and throw people off the ring. of course this arena had almost no rules you could kill people, fight above your class, fight any age. However you only get 1 battle a day per group. There was single battle, double battle and group battle. I won a fortune off gambling. enough that after almost ever event people would either try to kill me from spirit hall or find out who I was.
Sadly my raiment let's me use the invisibility cloak and they still haven't caught me.
Xiao Wu would spend her time doing extra studies, grudgingly after I promised her more carrots. I may have also coaxed her with the idea of early graduation.
Grandmaster also picked up studying on the different types of cultivation and other things I had lent him, also he made sure to never skip training or he would receive a beating from his teachers.
Since his spirit was a mutated one that materializes a golden dragon I made him sparring partners with both Ddraig and Albion who were happy to beat him up.
I may or may not have also allowed Guy and Lee to train and spar with him. oops.
They said they wanted to spread the youth and were a bit bored so I let them come play.
I was given many dirty looks by grandmaster for this move and he may flinch anytime I surprise him by shouting youth or anyone mentions the word youth.
"YOUTHHHHH!"
it's quite a scary sight to see the two green beasts doing thousands of pushups joined by a competitive scathach who enjoys their hardworking demeanors. I often join in on this insanity to the horror of the others.
"Monsters all of them." I heard him mutter to Xiao Wu one day only to get a nod from her.
News of the clear sky douluo robbing and looting spirit hall caches and supply routes would often make their way to us I had given him storage items to let him cause chaos.
His excuse was that he needed money to pay for my schooling and blacksmithing supplies. He did stop in to see me and his wife every so often. Speaking of mother her recovery was going excellent her main body was in the jade immortal realm being aged and healing with the massive spiritual energy. while her conciousness is always in the trunk either playing with gir or wrapping around me and Xiao Wu lovingly while we watch TV and study.
honestly anyone who had spent over 100000 years as a blade of grass and evolved must have patience of a saint. I don't know how Xiao Wu got so hyper.
my thinking is that maybe once they change into a human their demeanor changes back to the age they are and mother went through childhood, teenage years, and adulthood.
We got this theory confirmed by mother when me and grandmaster asked. we also confirmed she would go back to the age she was after being healed.
